This weekly feature, running throughout the 2023-24 season, pays tribute to outstanding players across all divisions. Our honorees are selected from player nominations submitted by their respective coaches. 9U AA Division: Nominating Coach: Chris Harrington

- Quote: Bo had a strong performance this weekend netting 2 goals as a forward. Bo primarily plays a strong role on defense and has become more confident as the season has progressed with his stick handling. The game this weekend it all came together with strong puck pressure and attack while jumping up to forward. Bo’s attitude on and off the ice is always very positive and contagious amongst his teammates. Keep up the great work Bo!

- Quote: Gio has been a key contributor for the Ducks this season and he continued his efforts this weekend, leading the team in scoring with 12 points. Gio was able to score a hat trick in each game Saturday. Then, in a key divisional game Sunday, Gio netted the game-winning goal in a 3rd period comeback. Way to go Gio!!

- Quote: Emmett scored 7 goals in 1 game on Sunday in the Rockets 9-7 loss to the Skyland Kings. Emmett constantly kept his team in the game, as he led by example by displaying his hard work to lead his team.
11U AA Division: Nominating Coach: Joe Rizzo

- Quote: Ethan shows up every day ready to play. He has become our team’s most valuable utility player. He steps up when we need a defenseman or grinds every shift when we need an offensive threat! Ethan’s been playing D for the last few months, but this week we asked him to move up to wing. Boy did he turn some heads. Not only did he score a huge goal to help us win a big game Saturday, he helped drive the offense during our game Sunday with his relentless forechecking! Keep up the great work E… and please… get a haircut!!!

- Quote: Mario has a motor that keeps running all game and was a dynamo all weekend. He scored 4 of the Chiefs 7 goals, including notching a hat trick against a tough Bandits (Grey) team in an important 5-2 victory. Mario continues to progress and will undoubtedly be a key to our team’s further success.

- Quote: Matt was in his element this weekend. Every time he hit the ice, he gave 100%! He was a strong skater, both on the fore and back checks, and set up some nice goals by being there with the passes and proximity to the opponent’s net. Good for him!

- Quote: Lucas has really improved this year with his rebound control, handling traffic, and mental preparation. - Quote: We had 2 games against our neighbors in the standings. Joey played a fantastic 2-way game in our win on Saturday, including helping our Penalty Kill to a few huge kills late in the 3rd and 100% on the day. On Sunday he helped us to a win in a different way, scoring 4 points – 3 goals and an assist. Chipman was all over the ice this weekend propelling us to 2 big-time wins going into break.
