Here are your Atlantic Hockey Federation Players of the Week and Peak Performer ending October 20th, 2024. Each week, we spotlight standout players from across all divisions, selected from coach nominations.

Player Name: Liam McCann
Team: Venom
Age Level: 8U
Division: AAA
Liam plays a complete 200-foot game, generating offense while also being responsible defensively. We relied heavily on Liam this weekend, and he came up big time for us. He is a game changer who does whatever he can to help his team and teammates.

Player Name: Nolan Zimny
Team: Tomorrow’s Ice North Stars
Age Level: 8U
Division: Intermediate
Nolan played great defensively and offensively on Saturday. He was a huge impact in the game on defense, blocking shots and clearing pucks out of danger areas.

Player Name: Krishiv Rawal
Team: Rockets Hockey Club
Age Level: 9U
Division: AA
Krishiv had a goal and assist this week, but his contributions on the ice were larger than the statistics. He worked hard to prevent our opponents’ chances and helped set up the offense, contributing to a number of goals in our two wins this week.

Team: Jersey Shore Wildcats
Age Level: 10U
Division: AA
Michael led the team in points this weekend with 4 goals as the Wildcats went .500 with 2 wins and 2 losses at the AHF AA Showcase. In the losses, they faced a talented MYHA squad and lost a nailbiter to New Canaan in the last contest.

Player Name: Keanan Folke
Team: Delaware Ducks
Age Level: 10U
Division: Lemieux
Keanan had a strong weekend supporting his team offensively and defensively. His hard work and positioning paid off as he netted 3 goals and 2 assists (5 points) in our 3 games this weekend. Keanan continues to adjust to the speed of the game and is becoming more consistent. Keep up the great work, Keanan! The coaches are proud of your continued development.

Team: Tomorrow’s Ice North Stars
Age Level: 10U
Division: McDavid
Bennett led his team to two wins over the weekend with a combined 6 goals and 2 assists. Bennett arrives each day with incredible energy and enthusiasm, which is contagious both on and off the ice.

Player Name: Jason Terantino
Team: Jersey Colts
Age Level: 11U
Division: AA
Jason scored 6 goals and 8 points over 4 games, killed penalties, and won faceoffs. The team went 3-1 on the weekend, and Terantino played a large role in those victories.

Player Name: Sieger Gilhooly
Team: Boulder Hockey Club
Age Level: 12U
Division: AA
Of Sieger’s 15 points, he had 3 power-play goals, 1 power-play assist, 1 shorthanded goal, and 1 shorthanded assist. Additionally, he was +10 on the weekend.

Player Name: Trystan O’Keefe
Team: Mercer Chiefs
Age Level: 12U
Division: Gretzky
Trystan was the backbone of the Mercer Chiefs this past weekend, helping his team secure two wins over the Rockets Hockey Club. Trystan went 2-0 and earned his first shutout of the year on Sunday, stopping all 20 shots against.

Age Level: 12U
Division: McDavid
Carson played two very good games this weekend, scoring 3 goals in 2 games and adding an assist. He also played great shutdown defense for his team in both games.

Team: Palmyra Black Knights
Age Level: 13U
Division: AA
Liam delivered an outstanding performance this weekend, contributing to 11 of our 30 goals. His efforts were crucial in helping us secure the championship win. His patience and readiness to bury the puck and set up his teammates were invaluable. Great job, Liam!

Age Level: 14U
Division: AA
Nathan played strong and physical in both games, supporting his teammates throughout a win and a loss.

Player Name: Jacob Braun
Team: Tri-City Eagles
Age Level: 14U
Division: Gretzky
Jacob Braun had an outstanding weekend, scoring six goals and adding three assists across four games. His offensive production and smart playmaking were matched by his relentless work ethic on the ice. Jacob’s ability to create opportunities, both for himself and his teammates, made him a constant threat and an essential contributor in all areas of the game.

Team: Grundy Senators
Age Level: 14U
Division: Lemieux
Gavin helped the Senators secure 3 wins and 1 tie, scoring and assisting goals in all four Showcase games this weekend. Totaling 8 goals and 8 assists, Gavin and his linemates Jaxson StJohn and Sebastian Krigbaum continue to show their chemistry on the ice, scoring 22 total goals this weekend.

Age Level: 14U
Division: McDavid
Ethan saw close to 200 shots this weekend at our showcase. He played great and gave our team a chance to win in every game.

Player Name: Jude Signore
Team: Saugerties Mustangs
Age Level: 18U
Division: Gretzky
Jude Signore was in goal for 2 games on Sunday for the Mustangs with no backup goalie and a short bench. Mustangs went 2-0 on the weekend, and Signore came up big with little rest between games, stopping 38 of 41 shots in game 2, including a heavy flurry in the 2nd period when the team spent a lot of time on the penalty kill.
