Comment or Quote: Lorenzo played one of his best games this whole season. He had 40 shots on net. Lorenzo made some unbelievable glove saves with some great pad saves. He only had 6 pucks that went past him. What impressed me was how quickly he was able to bounce back from every goal and make the next big save which gave our team the motivation to keep pushing forward and winning the game 9-6.

Comment or Quote: Aiden Romanowski put together a hard forecheck for a full one-hour game. At the mite age level, it is hard to coach going hard after pucks, especially when results don’t show. This did not stop Aiden from a relentless pursuit of loose pucks and pressure. Aiden was then rewarded with a big goal and some assists and many more stats that don’t show up on the scoresheet. My choice was clear for player of the week. Keep the hard work up, and many more points and awards to come.

Michael had a fantastic weekend. In our opening game on Friday, Michael moved to offense to help out his team as we were short-benched. He unleashed a fury of offensive firepower, scoring four goals and helping his team secure an easy win. On Saturday, Michael played shut-down defense, turning away his opponents’ offensive threats. In a really challenging game against the tournament-winning team, Michael helped contribute to the scoring by firing a blast from the blue line to register his second power-play goal of the tournament.

He was a brick wall in net! Huge win for the Knights!
