“For Genesis, joining AHF is about giving our players the chance to compete in a strong league

of Genesis Hockey Club. “As a nonprofit organization, our focus stays on what best serves our
athletes and families, and this move supports that mission well as we look ahead.”

“Genesis has built its program with a clear focus on player development and competitive
growth, which makes it a natural fit within the AHF,” said Tony Zasowski, League Commissioner of the Atlantic Hockey Federation. “We’re pleased to welcome their teams and look forward to

Throughout October, AHF goalies participated in the annual October Saves initiative, turning every save into an opportunity to support cancer research and patient care. Their efforts helped raise meaningful funds for an important cause, and we are proud of everyone who took part.
What is October Saves?
October Saves is a nationwide program that encourages goalies to collect pledges for every save they make in games and practices during the month of October. Donations support organizations focused on cancer research and support services. You can learn more about the program and its impact on their website: octobersaves.org.
AHF Goalies Step Up
This year, many AHF goalies signed up to participate. With the help of family, teammates, coaches and supporters, they raised funds throughout the month based on their save totals. Their involvement shows the positive influence hockey can have both on and off the ice.
Why It Matters
October Saves has raised millions of dollars since its start, helping fund research efforts and provide assistance to families affected by cancer. By participating, our goalies contributed to a program that continues to make a difference within local communities and beyond.
Thank You
Thank you to all AHF goalies who participated and to everyone who supported them. Your efforts helped bring awareness and funding to an important cause, and the AHF is proud to recognize your involvement.
