The Atlantic Hockey Federation (AHF) today announced that Montclair Blues Hockey Club, a nonprofit youth hockey organization based in Montclair, New Jersey, will be joining the league for the 2026-27 season and beyond. The move expands developmental and competitive opportunities for Montclair teams and players across multiple age levels as part of AHF’s national footprint league structure.
Montclair Hockey Club was established in 1963 and is a long-standing pillar of the New Jersey youth hockey community and puts a strong focus on developing each player’s skill level, character, sportsmanship, and passion for the game. The leaders and coaches of Montclair Hockey Club have instilled teamwork and respect at the core of their club and with over 600 players of all ages and genders, Montclair is proud to further its tradition of offering high-quality skating and hockey programs to its families.
“This move reflects where Montclair Hockey Club is headed. The AHF provides a forward-looking league structure with a strong collection of clubs and competitive depth across all age levels,” said Montclair Hockey Club Hockey Director Corin Stortz. “For a program founded in 1963 and built on development, sportsmanship, and passion for the game, the AHF is a natural fit as we continue to raise the standard for our players and families.”

The Atlantic Hockey Federation (AHF) today announced that Genesis Hockey Club, a nonprofit youth hockey organization based in Hatfield, Pennsylvania, has joined the league. The move expands competitive opportunities for Genesis teams and families across multiple age levels as part of AHF’s national footprint and member-run league
structure.
Genesis, founded in 2019 through the merger of two longstanding local programs, has built a
development focused culture serving players from 8U through 18U. The club’s leadership
evaluated the transition with a focus on maintaining a strong experience for families while
ensuring players have the right environment to keep growing on the ice. With a track record of
championship teams and consistent playoff appearances across its program, Genesis is widely
respected among players, families, and youth hockey peers for sustained competitive
excellence.
“For Genesis, joining AHF is about giving our players the chance to compete in a strong league
environment and continuing to raise the bar for our program,” said Tony Montagna, President
of Genesis Hockey Club. “As a nonprofit organization, our focus stays on what best serves our
athletes and families, and this move supports that mission well as we look ahead.”

AHF Playoffs kick off February 20, with championship weekends taking place across the federation and high-stakes hockey on the horizon.
The postseason is coming fast. Check your weekend, lock in your plans, and get ready for playoff hockey in the AHF.
What a full slate of All-Star action across every age group at this year’s AHF All-Star Weekend. From our youngest skaters to the oldest divisions, the games were fast, competitive, and packed with memorable moments. Here’s a complete rundown of the results from an incredible weekend of hockey.
The weekend opened with 8U AAA, where Team Red earned a 7–4 win over Team White. In 9U AA, Team White edged out a thrilling 7–6 victory. Team White stayed hot in 10U AA with a 4–1 win, while Team Red answered back in 10U Gretzky with an 11–3 victory. The 10U Lemieux matchup was a tight one, as Team White scored twice in the third period to take the win, and in 10U McDavid, Team White defeated Team Red 7–2.
At the 11U AA level, Team Red took control early and finished with a 9–2 win. In 12U AA, Team White doubled up Team Red with a 4–2 victory. Team White also picked up a 6–2 win in 12U Gretzky, while Team Red answered in 12U Lemieux with a 4–2 win. The 12U McDavid game came down to the final frame, where two third-period goals lifted Team Red to the win.
The 13U AA All-Star Game saw Team Red come out on top by a 6–4 score. In 14U AA, Team Red earned a 5–2 victory, while Team White responded with a dominant 6–1 win in 14U Gretzky. Team Red followed with a 7–4 win in 14U Lemieux, and the 14U McDavid teams battled to a 3–3 tie.
In the older divisions, Team Red continued its strong showing with a 6–1 win in 15U AA and a 7–3 victory in 16U AA. Team Red also edged out a 6–4 win in 16U Gretzky, while Team White took the 16U Lemieux game by a 12–4 score. The 18U AA game delivered one of the highlights of the weekend, as Team Red won a 4–3 overtime thriller. The final game of the weekend, 18U Gretzky, ended in a hard-fought 2–2 tie.
From start to finish, the All-Star Games delivered nonstop action, big goals, and plenty of excitement for players, families, and fans. It was an unforgettable weekend celebrating AHF hockey and the athletes who made it special.

Throughout October, AHF goalies participated in the annual October Saves initiative, turning every save into an opportunity to support cancer research and patient care. Their efforts helped raise meaningful funds for an important cause, and we are proud of everyone who took part.
What is October Saves?
October Saves is a nationwide program that encourages goalies to collect pledges for every save they make in games and practices during the month of October. AHF Goalies Step Up
This year, many AHF goalies signed up to participate. With the help of family, teammates, coaches and supporters, they raised funds throughout the month based on their save totals. Their involvement shows the positive influence hockey can have both on and off the ice.
