Established in 1998, the Junior Everblades Hockey Association has steadily grown over the years, aligning with the vision of team president Craig Brush to introduce hockey to Southwest Florida. Beginning with just four teams, the organization now boasts 14 teams and over 170 dedicated players.
Coach JP Parisi, with his impressive 11-year coaching experience at the AAA and AA levels, joins the Jr. Everblades from North Carolina, where he recently guided the Carolina Jr. Canes 2006 AAA team. Emphasizing positivity and passion as the keys to success, Coach JP is dedicated to the growth of his players both on and off the ice. He embraces the concept of learning from mistakes, believing that they provide valuable opportunities for development. Coach JP is not only a teacher but also a firm believer in giving back to the community, encouraging players to step out of their comfort zones while maintaining respect and courtesy.
Assisting Coach JP is the highly experienced Peter Jerabeck, who returns for his fourth season with the Jr. Everblades at the 16U level. With an impressive coaching career spanning 47 years, Coach Jerabeck brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the organization. Having coached at every level of youth hockey, from Mites to Juniors, and even at the High School and College levels, he is a true veteran of the sport. Coach Jerabeck’s transparency, ability to help players overcome challenges, and his unwavering love for the game make him an invaluable asset to the Jr. Everblades.
