The Atlantic Hockey Federation is thrilled to announce that Cherry Creek Defensemen Logan Flay has signed a tender with the EHL Boston Junior Rangers for the upcoming 2023-2024 season. Flay’s exceptional talent and dedication to the sport have earned him this opportunity to further develop his skills and compete at the highest level of junior hockey.
The Boston Jr. Rangers, located in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, have been a prominent organization since their establishment in 2008. While the Rangers aim to contend for championships across all levels each year, their primary focus lies in the development of their players to help them reach their full potential.
Originally known as the Boston Red Rangers, the organization expanded to include a junior program in 2012. The Junior “A” team made its debut in the Atlantic Junior Hockey League during the 2012-2013 season and later transitioned to the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) in the fall of 2013. The EHL team has demonstrated remarkable success, qualifying for the playoffs in each of its three seasons of competition. Notably, 35 former players from the EHL team have gone on to compete at the collegiate level, highlighting the program’s commitment to player development.
Logan Flay, a standout Defenseman from Cherry Creek High and the AHF organization Cherry Creek Bruins, has proven to be a force on the ice throughout his career. His impressive skills, combined with his dedication and work ethic, have caught the attention of the EHL Boston Jr. Rangers.
Flay’s tenure with Cherry Creek High and the Cherry Creek Bruins has been marked by outstanding achievements. Last season, Flay had the opportunity to showcase his skills as a guest player with the AHF, where he made a significant impact. He also excelled for Cherry Creek High, contributing four points on the ice.
The EHL is widely regarded as one of the premier junior hockey leagues in the United States, serving as a stepping stone for players aspiring to play at the collegiate level and beyond. With his exceptional abilities and dedication, Flay is well-positioned to make a significant impact within the league.
