The Atlantic Hockey Federation is thrilled to announce that the Northern Cyclones Academy will be joining the league for the 2023-24 season. The Cyclones Academy, based at the Cyclones Arena in Hudson, New Hampshire, brings a rich tradition of player development and success to the AHF.

Led by featured coaches Tim Plummer and Greg Lenti, the Northern Cyclones Academy is poised to make a significant impact in the AHF. Tim Plummer, a native of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the organization. With his extensive playing career and successful start to his coaching career, Plummer will serve as the Director of Player Personnel for the Cyclones, while also coaching the U18 Elite Cyclones Academy teams. Plummer’s passion for the game and his dedication to player development will undoubtedly propel the Cyclones Academy forward.

Greg Lenti, a native of Kew Gardens, New York, joined the Northern Cyclones program in 2020 and will serve as the head coach of the 16U Elite Cyclones Academy team. With a strong background in playing and coaching, Lenti’s experience will contribute to the growth and success of the Cyclones Academy. Having played youth hockey for the New York Stars and prep hockey at St. Mark’s School, Lenti understands the importance of a solid foundation in player development.

The Northern Cyclones Academy has established itself as a premier player development program, with over 400 players placed in college hockey. Their commitment to excellence is evident through their success in placing players at the next level. Additionally, the Cyclones Academy boasts junior teams in the USPHL NCDC Premier and Elite, providing players with opportunities to further their hockey careers.
