Ashburn Rebels: The Rebels have played solidly in all of their games this season. Graydon Powers and Travis Brecht have led the way in goal-scoring, but John RipkeBrodie DeVelli, and Henry Povlich have done a great job getting them the puck in prime scoring areas. Ashburn has been solid on the defensive side as well with only 11 goals-against in their four match-ups. 

Patriot Selects: With only one game of AHF action, the Selects have shown the ability to move the puck around, with six players notching a point in the game– Patrick KnoxJustin Jackson, and Connor McGovern having a multi-point. On top of that, they only surrendered one goal, which shows they don’t skimp on the defensive side of the puck. 

West Chester Wolverines: Things may have not been easy for the Wolverines, but they’ve stuck to it and kept grinding. Maksim SoumisJacob CleaverJoey GilbertArchie Strode, and Connor Oddo all have registered points for the team. They have kept to their game plan and played hard, showing the spirit of the game when they’re on the ice. 

Hollydell Selects: Hollydell has played two tight games under the AHF banner. Roman Weed (3g, 1a) and Joseph Mastalski (1g, 2a) have shown off their offensive prowess, while Elvis Settlemyre has held his own between the pipes. With more games in this showcase to come, Hollydell will surely have many more players ready to get on the scoresheet and have a successful weekend. 

Three New Competitors: This Showcase also welcomes three new competitors who haven’t played in the AHF this season. Hard Edge SelectsAspen Aviators, and Pennsauken Pilots join in on the party this weekend, which should add to the solid competition we’ve seen already in the Mite B Division.

Patriot Select (3-0-1, 40 GF, 15 GA): Showing their grit all weekend, the Patriot Select squad put forth a great performance with their only defeat coming in a hard-fought shootout against the undefeated Ashburn team. Giovanni Ciupinski tallied 10 goals on the weekend, with Grady Gutowski posting six goals and an assist on the weekend. Caleb Conte had four wins and one shutout during the Showcase. 

Pennsauken Pilots (2-2-0, 38 GF, 25 GA): In their first showing, the Pilots had quite a solid showing on the ice. Brock Danenhower led the way with 20 goals on the weekend, while Maximus Roach had five goals and three assists in the Pilots first win of the weekend. Seven players tallied at least one goal on the weekend, showing how spread out the goal-scoring can be for the team. 

Hollydell Selects (2-2-0, 24 GF, 21 GA): Hollydell started and ended the Showcase with wins with help from the play of Bryce Donahue, who put up seven goals in the two wins for the Selects. Ryan Platt had three goals and four assists, including the game-winning marker in the Showcase finally for Hollydell. Blake King and Joshua Fazzio also score multiple times on the weekend. 

Aspen Aviators (2-2-0, 27 GF, 26 GA): Aspen spread the wealth in goals with 11 different goal-scorers and 10 players having two-or-more goals in the Showcase. Tommy Tatum and Parker Vlcko accounted for four goals each, with Charlie Peters and Vincent Adone putting up three goals for the weekend.

Patriot Selects vs. Hollydell Selects

The top two teams in Mite B square off in each team’s first game of the showcase. The Patriot Selects boast some of the best team numbers with a league-leading 78 goals for while only allowing 22 goals against. The team is 7-0-1 on the year so far and is led by Connor McGovern and his 27 points in just eight games played. Hollydell enters this match up with the second-best record in Mite B at 2-4-1. Offensively, the team is led by Joseph Mastalski who has 12 points in just seven games. The last time these two teams met was back on October 16th where the Patriot Selects won 5-1. This matchup will take place Saturday, November 6th with puck drop scheduled for 8:00 AM ET at York Ice Arena Rink 1.

Aspen Aviators vs. West Chester Wolverines 

The Aviators enter this weekend’s showcase at 2-2-0. The team boasts a talented and deep roster with seven players at a point per game average or higher. Tommy Tatum leads the way with four goals and five points as the team looks to build on its recent hot streak, winning two of its last three games. The Wolverines are the league’s third-highest scoring team with 38 goals and have scored 12 total goals in its last three games. West Chester has received scoring from all over its lineup, including 11 goals from defenseman Maksim Soumis. Puck drop is slated for 9:30 AM ET at York Ice Arena Rink 1 on Saturday, November 6th.

Pennsauken Pilots vs. Hollydell Selects (Mite A)

The Pilots sit at third place in Mite B with a record of 2-3-0 and have totaled 41 goals as a team. Pennsauken has won two of its last three games and was 37 goals in its last four games. Forward Brock Danenhower has been a force for the Pilots, scoring 22 goals so far this season. They will be tasked with trying to stop a Mite A team eager to show what it can do. Hollydell Selects A has eight skaters with at least one point this season, led by Corey Hewes and his eight points in as many games. The two teams will face off Saturday, November 6th at 8:15 AM ET at York Ice Arena Rink 2.
