– Royals head coach Barney Weber described Camper as the “ultimate team player.” Accompanying his team-first mindset is a type of physical play that is a force to be reckoned with.
Riley Capecci – Holydell Hurricanes White (Gold)
– Capecci can skate circles around nearly any defender and is skilled in every aspect of the game. He’s expected to have his name all over the score sheet, and he has done so thus far, notching two goals and four points over two games.
Alvin Grubb – Team Philadelphia White (Silver)
– An incredible playmaker, Grubb has the ability to read the game with ease and create the best chances possible for his team. This ability has shown on the scoresheet, tallying two assists in his first game.
Adam Iles – Tomorrow’s Ice North Stars White (Silver)
– Iles’s playmaking ability is among the best in the age group. He has great puck handling and a superb passing talent, along with above average finishing ability.
Flint Kodak – Maryland Jr. Black Bears Black (Silver)
A power forward with a strong, accurate shot, Kodak is a tough force to contain in the Jr. Black Bears offensive attack. Willing to get physical to win puck battles, he can cause problems all over the ice.
Michael Rago – Royals Hockey Club 2 (Silver)
– Having a high hockey IQ can take you a long way and that is exactly what Rago possesses. His intelligence is often displayed in his timely passes.
Gareth Schoeffler – Maryland Jr. Black Bears Black (Silver)
A headsy centerman, Schoeffler never gives up on a play and does all he can to keep attacks alive. Always aware of where the best play is, he can use his strength and skill to execute to perfection.
Kyle Sigwart – Tomorrow’s Ice North Stars White (Silver)
– Sigwart’s sense for the net and shooting talent is something that instantly catches the eye. He possesses the speed to break away from the defense and also has the physicality to serve as a power forward.
Chase Strange – Royals Hockey Club 2 (Silver)
– Along with an elite scoring touch, Strange can easily slip by defenders with high level speed and elusiveness. Chase also plays with a gritty style that can fluster opponents.
Andrew Way – Holydell Hurricanes White (Gold)
– Captain of the Hurricanes, Way’s leadership and poise shows that his potential doesn’t just rest in his skill on the ice. Of course, having passing talent as good as Andrew’s certainly helps.
Ian Weber – Atlantic City Sharks (Gold)
– With great physical size for his position, Weber has the puck on a string whenever it is in his possession. Along with his good hands is an electric shot.
Russell Weber – Royals Hockey Club 2 (Silver)
– Using his explosive skating, Weber can create his own opportunities by laying the body on his opponents. He can also finish those opportunities with a supreme scoring touch.
Joe Duemmer, New Jersey Bandits (Silver)
– Strong two-way forward who works hard on both sides of the puck. Has a strong shot, has good hands, and makes good accurate passes.
Defense:
John Cherubini – Royals Hockey Club 2 (Silver)
– Fast and physical are the best words to describe Cherubini. With his quick skating and hard-nosed playing style, he is quick to provide support in any part of the ice.
Aiden Donnelly – Tomorrow’s Ice North Stars White (Silver)
– Donnelly is a threatening presence all over the ice. He can shut down attacks with textbook poke checks while he can break down defenses with a wicked slapshot.
Grant Galvin – North Jersey Avalanche (Gold)
– A fleet-of-foot blue liner that can help in creating an attack from a defensive stop, Galvin is expected to be near the top of the Avalanche in assists. He has a decent start in that category, having an assist through two games.
Ethan Ives – Tomorrow’s Ice North Stars White (Silver)
– Ives is a big, physical defenseman that isn’t afraid to throw his body around to win battles for the puck. He also utilizes solid puck movement and a powerful wrist shot.
Allen Magie – North Jersey Avalanche (Gold)
– An offensively-gifted defenseman, Magie can send blistering shots from the blue line and has dynamic skating talents that allow him to create open space. The Avalanche can rely on him to generate chances from the blue line.
Ryan Roscoe – Atlantic City Sharks (Gold)
– A playmaking defenseman, Roscoe makes good use of his vision of the ice and physical play to spark offensive attacks for the Sharks. He is also efficient when skating in reverse, rarely getting beat while recovering defensively.
Lukas Stratton – Maryland Jr. Black Bears Black (Silver)
– Stratton is a defenseman that is strong and powerful on his skates. Able to move around the defensive zone with ease, don’t expect many opponents to be left unmarked when Maryland’s vocal leader is on the ice.
Jake Chromcik, New Jersey Bandits (Silver)
– Strong two-way defenseman who excels on both ends of the ice. Contributes as much defensively as he does offensively.
Goalies:
Kyle Foster – Rockets Hockey Club (Gold)
– One of the best netminders in the age group, Foster serves as an excellent last line of defense. Through two games in the showcase so far, he has saved 31-of-33 shots against in 85 minutes of ice time.
Ricky Gonzalez – Grundy Senators (Gold)
– Don’t try to sneak one by Gonzalez on his stick side, he’ll more than likely have it locked down. Paired with his good size, Ricky will definitely be tough to break through in net.
Ella Hydutsky – Team Philadelphia White (Silver)
– Hydutsky is a quick, agile goalie that can anticipate plays very well. There isn’t a weak spot for opponents to expose, making Ella a dependable presence in goal.
Utility:
Gerhig Callahan – Atlantic City Sharks (Gold)
– Already 6’5”, 225 pounds at the age of 16, Callahan uses his frame effectively as both a center and a defenseman. In addition to a powerful shot, Callahan is also a great leader.
Trevor Hyman – Tomorrow’s Ice North Stars White (Silver)
– A true 200-foot player, Hyman is both a scoring threat as a forward and a solid defenseman. His offensive skill set stands out the most, as he has both outstanding passing and shooting abilities.

Byron is a 2nd-year player that transitioned to wing and is strong on the puck. He has excellent backchecking skills and has a strong shot. Byron tied for the team lead with 4 points scoring two-goal and 2 assists along with two shootout goals.

Dylan Paranich, Igloo Jaguars Black
Dylan finished fourth in points for the U10 AA division, scoring ten goals and 11 points. He really showed his skills off when he was able to score on a penalty shot.

Owen showed off his great hands and shot this weekend, finishing third in U10 AA in goals with eight.

Austin Shaw, North Jersey Avalanche Blue
Austin showed great speed to create many scoring opportunities on breakaways and off of face-offs. He used these skills to lead his team in points with five.

Josh is hustling every second he is out on the ice. He has great speed and agility which allowed him to create chances and record a team-leading nine goals and 14 points on the weekend.

Christian showed great awareness on the ice to consistently put himself in a position for scoring opportunities throughout the weekend. He recorded three goals and four points at the showcase.

Aaron worked hard all weekend and his hard work showed up on the stat sheet. He has a great shot he used to score four goals, and his heads-up passing led him to four assists as well.

Justice is an offensive Defenseman that can play all 5 positions. He led his team in goals with 3 and had 4 points in the showcase. Primarily plays a physical style of defense but his offense showed again when he scored a shootout winner this weekend.

Hunter Frasch, Igloo Jaguars Black
Hunter possesses great defensive and offensive instincts. In his game against the Suffolk P.A.L Sound Tigers, he dove to block two shots in the defensive zone. He showed off his goal-scoring abilities as well, bringing the puck from the neutral zone against the North Jersey Skylands Kings Navy and scoring from the top of the circle.

Bryson showed off his defensive instincts this weekend. He played strong in his own zone and played smothering defense all weekend.

Cullen showed off his speed this past weekend when he was called upon in between the pipes. He came up with big saves and went 2-0 at the showcase.

Having success in the face-off circle this weekend, Pacheco was a reliable center to have on the rink. Also sharing the team lead in points (6), he netted a nasty breakaway goal this weekend after striping a D man of the puck and turning on the speed.

Henry brought his A-game this weekend, leading his team in points with seven. His hockey IQ shined as he was able to make plays to put the puck in the back of the net.

Braxton used hustle and hard work to make a big impact on his team. He started off with a strong five-goal performance against Philadelphia and finished with the fourth-most points in his division (14).

Cooper brought 100% effort to every game he played and it reflected on the scoresheet. He was the team’s most consistent scorer, recording three goals and four points total.

With a hat trick in the Wildcats’ 6-5 shootout loss to the 4-0 Delaware Ducks Reilly scored more goals (3) against the Ducks in one game than they had let up (2) in their three previous games. He also scored the game-tying goal against Team Philadelphia very late in the 3rd period. Reilly is tied for the Wildcats team lead with 5 goals after the weekend.

Jonathan was the offensive leader for the Hawks this weekend tallying 5 goals and 7 assists. His consistency in making offensive plays helped the Hawks get off to quick starts and having an undefeated weekend.

Anthony is a leader for the Vipers and showed his willingness to lay it all on the line for his team, blocking 15 shots in four games. He showed off his speed as well, rushing the puck up the ice to create numerous scoring opportunities.

Leading his team on and off the ice, this Captain did it all this weekend. Shutting down top players in the defensive zone and scoring big goals on offense. Nevrotski had the nicest slap shot goal from the blue line all weekend.

Zachary showed what it meant to be a true shut-down defenseman this past weekend, stifling the opponent’s offense every chance he got.

Jackson was a force on the penalty kill throughout the weekend for his team. He also scored two goals, one of which was a big goal late in the third period against Jersey Shore on an end-to-end rush in a 5-2 win.

Reece relies on a combination of great anticipation, a giant heart, and superior stick skills to shut down forwards all weekend. Despite usually having a size advantage against Corneau, opposing forwards had a difficult time carrying the puck around him.

Dylan was as clutch as a goalie could be this past weekend, stopping ten total breakaways and stopping five shootout attempts in the Vipers’ first win. He always stayed positive, even when the score was not in his team’s favor, and helped out coaches when he was on the bench.

Artin Toufouyan, North Jersey Avalanche Gold
Artin was a brick wall for the Avalanche at the showcase, highlighted by a shutout performance in his team’s 4-0 win over Capital City.

Owen stood tall in net for his team this past weekend, doing his part to help his team to two wins. He made clutch saves throughout the showcase and even recorded 49 saves in a game against Team Philadelphia Orange.

Boasting a .907 sv pct, Sturm did everything she could (47 saves) to keep the undermanned Wildcats in their game long enough to storm back late to tie the Ducks. Sturm also had a shutout against Ashburn and was a major reason why the Wildcats were undefeated in regulation through 4 games.

The big man in net had a tremendous weekend in his two starts allowing only one goal and recording his first shutout of the season. His 0.957 Save % is a big reason the Hawks went undefeated in their first showcase.

Carson went 2-0 on the weekend and only allowed one goal on 32 shots. His save percentage (.970) and goals-against average (0.50) were the best amongst U13 AA goalies who played multiple games.

York Devils vs. North Jersey Avalanche
The York Devils enter this weekend’s showcase with an 8-1-1 record and are tied for first in U18 A with the North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue. One of the two losses for York? A 3-2 shootout loss to the Avalanche back in August. They are the highest-scoring team in the league with 49 total goals scored and have the best goal differential with a +28 margin. They have four players with over a point-per-game average and are led by Anthony Woodard’s eight goals and 15 points (both lead the team). The North Jersey Avalanche is the second highest-scoring team with 45 total goals. The Aves are third in 18U A with a 6-2-1 record and are led by U18 A’s leading goal (11) and point scorer (16) Camilo Ramirez. The game will take place Saturday, September 25th at 2:50 PM ET.
North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue vs. Maryland Jr. Black Bears
This match-up boasts two top-five teams in the U18 A division. The Aspen Kings are 8-1-1 and have allowed the lowest amount of goals against (18) amongst teams that have played more than five games. Ryan Solotist leads the way offensively for the Kings, recording 13 points in ten games. This total is good enough for the fifth-highest in 18U A. The Maryland Jr. Black Bears are fifth in U18 A with a record of 5-3-0. Offensively they are led by Edmond O’Connell with nine goals and eleven points while being held down in between the pipes by Alexander Nalepa and his .930 save percentage. The last time these two teams met the Kings defeated the Black Bears 3-0. This match-up will take place on Sunday, September 26th at 9:30 AM ET.
MYHA Gold vs. New Jersey Bandits
MYHA Gold head into the showcase undefeated with a record of 5-0-0 while scoring 32 goals in those games. They have two undefeated goalies in Julien Piche and Federick Horowitz who both have a save percentage higher than .920 and three players with over a point per game average. The New Jersey Bandits are 4-3-0, scoring 28 goals in those games. Mathew Healey’s eight assists are good enough for being tied for third in 18U A in that category. MYHA won the prior game in August by a score of 7-2. This game will take place on Saturday, September 25th at 11:20 AM ET.
MYHA Blue vs. Grundy Senators
This match-up highlights the top two teams in the U18 AA division. MYHA Blue currently leads U18 AA with a record of 5-1-0 and a league-best +27 goal differential. Forward TJ Kouba leads U18 AA in point scoring with 15 points in just six games. Goalie Sebastien Blanc leads the way in the net with a 3-0-0 record. He has only allowed two goals in those three games. The Grundy Senators are second in U18 AA with a 5-3-0 record. Michael McVey’s 11 points, the Senators are tied with the North Jersey Avalanche for the highest goal total in the league with 38. This will be the first meeting between these two teams. It will take place Saturday, September 25th at 6:50 PM ET.
North Jersey Avalanche vs. Delaware Ducks
The Avalanche enter this weekend’s showcase tied with the Senators for the highest-scoring team in the league with 38 total goals. The Ave’s 5-5-0 record is good enough for third in U18 AA. Led by forwards Jack Flatley and Danny Mauriber (both with 13 points), the Aves look to use a strong offensive attack to slow down the Delaware Ducks. The Ducks (3-3-0) are on a two-game win streak and are led by forward Nicholas Lawson and his nine points. This will also be the first meeting between these two teams. The game will be played on Saturday, September 25th at 9:30 AM ET.
Philadelphia Blazers vs. Ashburn Xtreme
The Blazers enter the showcase with a perfect 4-0-0 record and have outscored its opponents 28-3. They have received excellent goaltending performances from Anthony Perti and Colin McKey who both have save percentages over .930 while scoring at least six or more goals in three of its four games. The Ashburn Xtreme are 3-1-0 and have scored 30 goals in that span. Led by Andrew Kurowski and his 13 points (good enough for second in U18 AA), they look to avenge its loss to the Blazers back in August by a score of 3-1. The game will take place Saturday, September 25th at 5:10 PM ET.

Tyler, for being one of the smaller kids on the team, plays with the most heart. He never is afraid to get hit or throw his weight around. His speed and handling ability result in numerous scoring opportunities for his team. He has three goals and four points so far this season.

Michael is an excellent team player with a great sense for the game of hockey. He posses a wicked shot which has helped him tally four goals and six points through his team’s first nine games.

Griffin Hoch, MYHA Gold
Griffin is a fast, physical forward who can create space and opportunity for scoring opportunities for his team. He has a very accurate shot which has helped him score twice so far this season.

Camilo Ramirez, North Jersey Avalanche
Camilo has had an excellent start to the season, leading U18 A in goals (11) and points (16). Camilo has an excellent sense for the game and is a threat with the puck every time they’re in the offensive zone.

Sean is a hardworking forward that has excellent skating ability. He is a great back checker and makes an impact on both ends of the ice. Sean has recorded four points in his first six games.

Eric is a player to watch out for due to his ability to find the back of the net during important times in the game, as well as his strong skating. He has six points in eight games so far this season.

Chris has proven to be effective both defensively and offensively. He is the highest-scoring defenseman in U18 A, recording four goals and ten points. He has only gone pointless twice in his first eight games of the season, showing he is a consistent point scorer.

Lucas Guinan, Philadelphia Blazers
Lucas has an excellent sense for the game of hockey. He knows where every play is going to end up and uses his speed to get himself involved.

David loves to use his size and physical ability to his advantage, getting physical to cause turnovers. He is a vocal leader on the ice and has two assists so far this season.

Tyler is productive on both ends of the ice. He is smart in his own zone and can produce offensively too, scoring two goals and eight points in his first nine games. Tyler has been heating up as of late, recording five points in his last three games.

Colin controls the puck in his own zone and outworks his opponents. He does a great job leading breakouts with a mix of good vision and passing while also always working hard to keep the puck in the zone.

Phillip has been dynamite for his team so far and is entering the showcase riding a three-game shutout streak. Those three shutouts he recorded are good enough to lead U18 A in shutouts. He has a goals-against-average of only 1.37 and has proven to be consistent and focused in between the pipes.

Taylor West, Team Philadelphia
Taylor has only started two games so far this season and has been spectacular in them, recording shutouts in both games. He is quick and consistent in between the pipes.

Colin McQuade, York Devils
Colin enters this weekend with a 6-2 record, winning his last three games. He has come up with 20 plus saves his past two wins as he continues to demonstrate why he is one of the top goalies in U18 A.

Alexander has proven his worth in between the pipes, turning aside at least 20 shots in every game he has played in. He uses his vision and athleticism to be consistent and help his team win. Alexander has won his last two starts.
Philadelphia Blazers vs. Team Philadelphia – Sept. 24, 8:00 PM
Kicking off the showcase with a bang, the two Philadelphia squads will meet in a battle for the lead in the U15 AA standings. The teams will both enter the game with eight points through their first six games, owning identical 4-2-0 records. The Blazers have leaned on their group-leading 23 goals, paced by team-leader Colin Fera (4 goals). Meanwhile, Team Philadelphia has relied on fantastic defense and stellar netminding of Shahzad Bolduc (.923 save %, leads group) and Justin Koehler (.914 save %). Team Philadelphia has posted the best goal differential among all U15 AA teams, scoring 11 more goals than they have allowed.
Tomorrow’s Ice Selects vs. North Jersey Avalanche – Sept. 25, 11:40 AM
This game will feature two mid-standings teams battling to improve position and close the gap on the league leaders. North Jersey, who enter the showcase in third place, own a record of 2-3-0 through their first five games and will look for more standout performances from U15 AA leading point-scorer, Tommy Corazza (2 G, 7 A), and joint goals leader, Filip Hidas (6 goals). The Ice Selects, who enter the showcase in fourth place, own a 1-2-1 record through their first four games. They are led on the point sheet by Peter Mood (4 G, 1 A) and Ryan Kulak (1 G, 4 A).

Brian has a high hockey IQ and is an excellent decision-maker when he has the puck. He can finish plays and has a strong vision on the ice.

Trent Lofland, Delaware Ducks
Trent is a skilled player with good vision and passing ability. He is a relentless defender who is very effective in using body position to win many puck battles and never gives up on a play.

Jake King, North Jersey Avalanche
Jake’s 12 points this season is the highest point total among defensemen in 18U AA. He is currently riding a six-game point streak, showing he can be an impact player on both ends of the ice.

William Thyberg, North Jersey Skyland Kings Navy
William is a strong skating defenseman who has a great ability to lead breaks out of his own zone. He has a competitive edge and can produce offensively when his team names him.

Luke Gutman, MYHA Blue
Luke can play great hockey in both the offensive and defensive zone. He has recorded a point in every game he has played this season, totaling four goals and nine points.

Daniel Testa, North Jersey Skyland Kings Navy
Daniel has a very high hockey IQ and excellent passing abilities. Not only is he a great skater, but he can play both offense and defense.

Brian Nelson, Grundy Senators
Brian has been an excellent goaltender for the Senators so far this season. He has a .920 save percentage through his first four games and has made over 30 saves in a game on two occasions.

Derek Baradgie, Grundy Senators
The other half of the Senators goaltending tandem, Derek has won three of his first four games this season and is riding a two-game win streak. He has great instincts and vision on the ice that helps him succeed.

Jimmy Rorro, North Jersey Skyland Kings Navy
Jimmy has strong angles and a competitive edge. He has great rebound control and battles for all pucks while keeping his team in the game.

Joseph Giarratano, Long Island Rebels
Joseph has been lights out so far this season, turning aside 43 of the 45 shots he has faced. He recorded a 19 save shutout in his first start of the season and has shown he has a great on-ice vision to help his team win.

Keegan Ford, Igloo Jaguars Green
Keegan has great reaction time and has helped keep his team in every game. He has turned aside over 25 shots in every start he has this season.
Forwards:

Brendan Chandler – Team Philadelphia
Riding a four-game goal streak and a five-game point streak, Team Philadelphia’s offense has been run through Chandler. Coinciding with his goalscoring run, Team Philadelphia has also won four-in-a-row thanks to Chandler’s skilled shot. He lifted his team with a 2 goal, 3 point game in a 5-1 win over their rival Philadelphia Blazers last month. Chandler will hope to add to his team-leading 6 goals in the upcoming showcase.

Tommy Corazza – North Jersey Avalanche
Breaking out with a near 2.0 PPG pace, Corazza emerged as the division’s leading point scorer with 2 goals and 7 assists through his first 5 games. Establishing himself early, he had a goal and 4 assists in North Jersey’s season opener against St. James. He added another multi-point game two days later against Tomorrow’s Ice Selects. His efforts in these games lifted North Jersey to their only two wins, so the Avalanche will look for Corazza to use his superb vision to set up his teammates time and time again.

Peter Mood – Tomorrow’s Ice Selects
Never afraid to do whatever it takes to help his team, Mood has seen it result in him sitting atop the team’s goal charts. He leads the team with four goals, which included a hat trick in a 4-1 win over St. James. Mood has also been involved in tough puck battles, laying a hit or two when necessary. His versatile play has allowed the Ice Selects to stay involved in games, as they are 1-1-0 with a +2 goal differential when he scores a point.

Aliaksandr Bazylevich – Philadelphia Blazers
The division’s leading point scorer among defenseman, Bazylevich is sitting with a point-per-game pace, notching 2 goals and 4 assists through his first six games. Using a powerful shot, he was able to get the only goal for the Blazers in their 5-1 defeat against Team Philadelphia, the stingiest defense in the division. The offensive defenseman will be relied upon when the Blazers return to the ice, opening the showcase against Team Philadelphia.

Seamus McGee – MYHA Gold
A two-way defenseman, McGee has found a way to be productive for MYHA at both ends of the ice. His backcheck has proven very effective, shutting down opposing attacks. At the other end, he has been able to set up goals with success, contributing 2 assists through five games. McGee has also displayed great discipline, not once taking a trip to the sin bin. McGee’s smart play will prove critical to MYHA’s success.

John Richey – St. James
A well-rounded player worth taking note of regardless of his location on the ice, Richey contributed his sole point through his first four games of the season with a goal against the Philadelphia Blazers. His efforts in the defensive end are more than noteworthy and he also displays a fantastic sense of the game, not taking any senseless penalties. Richey is absolutely the backbone to St. James’s blue liners.

Shahzad Bolduc – Team Philadelphia
Backstopping his team to the best defensive performance in the division, Bolduc has turned in a 2-1-0 record with a .923 save % and 1.67 GAA. He posted a shutout against St. James, turning aside 11 shots in the effort. Bolduc’s athleticism helps him to turn aside well-placed shots that many goalie would watch slip by, contributing to his team’s success.

Jeremy Eager – MYHA Gold
Eager has only seen one game between the pipes this season, but his performance was stellar. Although MYHA dropped a close 3-2 decision against Team Philadelphia, Eager turned aside 32 of the 35 shots he faced, keeping his team in the contest. One could expect Eager to get more routine looks in goal in the near future, especially with four games coming up this weekend.
