New Jersey Outlaws
The team staked their claim as a dominant force in the division, recording a perfect 4-0-0 weekend and a goal differential of +57. The team exploded for a big win over the Ashburn Rebels in their third game of the showcase. In that game, Rocco Luppino scored a hat trick and added four assists, good for an impressive seven-point outing. Aaralyn Shen also scored three goals and added three assists for a six-point game. Shen scored hat tricks in three of the four games and had two goals in the other game. The Outlaws excel at maximizing offensive output and limiting attacks, as they have only allowed an average of 5.2 shots on goal defensively over the course of the season.

West Chester Wolverines
The Wolverines started their season with a tidy 3-1-0 showing in the showcase, only falling to the New Jersey Outlaws. The team earned their first win in a 9-8 shootout win over the Ashburn Rebels before closing out the weekend with a pair of large wins. In their last game, against the Iceland Hamilton Huskies, Jacskon Mahalik netted five goals, taking them to the team lead with nine through four games. The Wolverines really found their legs after their first win and began firing on all cylinders, so expect it to continue in the future.

North Jersey Blizzard
Going 2-2-0 on the weekend, North Jersey had another strong showing on the AHF circuit. They opened the showcase with an win over Venom, which featured five goals off the stick of Miles Lee, contributing to his team-high 11 goals on the season. The Blizzard also topped Iceland Hamilton for the second time this season. Team points leader, defenseman James Wolfsohn, had his best offensive effort in this game as he had three goals and an assist. The team continues their trend of alternating wins and losses so far this season, as they stand with a 3-3-0 record with an even goal differential, but should they find a consistent offensive output, the Blizzard will be a team to watch.
MYHA Blue vs. Rockets Hockey Club
U14 AA’s top team in MYHA Blue takes on the undefeated Rockets Hockey Club in a can’t miss goaltending match-up. MYHA Blue is 8-1-1 and has won four of its last five games. It boasts a lethal offense and a goaltending tandem that has been lights out in Daniel Rosenstock and Mac Glazer, who have combined for three shutouts this season. The Rockets are 5-0-0 and have three shutouts in those five games. Rasmus Bergam and Liam Slattery are the goaltenders for the Rockets and both have over a .935 save percentage and under a 1.00 goals-against average. These two teams face off Saturday, October 23rd at 8:40 PM ET on Grundy Rink B.
New Jersey Jets vs. North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue
A battle of two New Jersey teams both in the top five of the U14 AA standings. The North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue team boasts an 8-0-0 record and the highest-scoring offense in U14 AA with a team total of 71 goals scored while sitting in second place. The Kings have scored eight or more goals in seven of its eight games played and are led offensively by Jase Zangara and his team-leading 33 points. The Jets are 6-2-0 and are fourth in U14 AA. New Jersey is accustomed to winning close games with four of its six victories coming in one-goal games. The team is led offensively by Maximo Rodriguez and his nine points. These two teams face off Friday, October 22nd at 8:00 PM ET at Skylands Ice World Coliseum.
Ashburn Xtreme vs. Royals Hockey Club
The Xtreme enter this showcase with a 6-2-0 record and have recorded shutout wins the past two games. Tyler Rounds has been excellent in net, recording three shutouts this season. The team has been incredible defensively, holding its opponents to three or fewer goals in all six of its wins so far. The Royals enter the showcase 5-0-0 and have the second-best team goal differential with a plus 32. The club has six players with a point per game average or higher and is led by Cole Gainsley and his ten goals. This match-up takes place Saturday, October 23rd at 3:50 PM ET at NESZ Phantoms rink.
Haverford Hawks vs. Rockets Hockey Club, Saturday October 23rd: In the thick of the playoff hunt, these two squads will face-off in a pivotal game with big implications in the standings. Haverford has found a balanced offensive attack with five players in double-digits in points, led by Daniel Donegan. Frankie and Jake Ely are also in that group with both having seven assists on the year, but Frankie having seven goals to Jake’s three. Rockets Hockey Club has a dynamic duo in Dylan Swon and Brendan Whiteley, who have accounted for 47% of the team’s goals. However, every skater on Rockets has a point on the season, showing this team can distribute the puck up and down the roster.
New Jersey Stars vs. Capital City Vipers, Sunday October 24th: Another match-up between teams within striking distance of each other in the standings, as two points separate the clubs going into the Showcase. New Jersey has plenty of firepower, with Umar Esenov, Philip Revzin, and Ben Blizniak all in double-digits in points. But New Jersey also gets help from their blue line with Eli Broomer tied for the lead in assists with five and Michael Sudia chipping in two goals and two assists on the year. Capital City has two goal-scorers in double-digits with Eli Barnes (16) and Chase Pavlesich (11) at the top of those charts. Geno Doone has played well in net, as he has faced an average of 29 shots a game while collecting five wins on the year.
MYHA Blue vs. Royals Hockey Club, Sunday October 24th: Two of the top teams in the U12AA division will face off to end their Showcases. Royals are undefeated heading into the Showcase with Chris London and his 26 goals leading the way offensively. Royals also have three other players with at least a point-per-game this season: Roman Tkach, Alex Korolev, and Miles Matyszczak. In net, Royals boast two goalies in Xavier Prozorov and Matthew Urena, who have sub-1.75 GAA on the campaign. Not to be outdone, MYHA’s squad has four players with five-or-more goals: Alexander Cheves (13), Jacob Resnick (8), Andrew Browning Elam (5), and Grayson Felizzi (5). Browning Elam also leads the defense that has allowed just over two goals-per-game, alongside Colt Meyers, Alexander Bazyluk, and Adeline Vederman.
New Jersey Bandits vs. Grundy Senators, Friday October 22nd: Starting off the Showcase are the second and third place teams in the standings. It will be a rubber match, as well, as each team has a win over the other this season. New Jersey’s Theo Herman comes into the Showcase with a seven-game point streak, while Evan Pierri, Jason Kilpatrick, and Liam Ahern have three points a piece against Grundy on the season. Grundy’s Christopher Marshall, Patryk Oszer, and Shane Hicks have been big offensive factors, combining for 28 goals, though they only have four goals against the Bandits this season. Sean Rue and Lucas Gonzalez have contributed well from the blue line with four goals from the back-end.
North Jersey Avalanche vs. Team Philadelphia, Saturday October 23rd: Tied in points in the standings, North Jersey and Philadelphia will take on each other for the first time this year. North Jersey boasts a solid defensive game, with goalies Tyler Um and Ryan Felenstein only allowing 14 goals in their seven match-ups. They’ve gotten aid from Juno Moon, Aiden Chun, and Andrew Sherland, who have patrolled their defensive end to help the low-scoring output from the opposition. Philadelphia will test out the Avalanche defense, with Bradan Fisher and Michael O’Connor both coming into the Showcase with three-game point streaks. Declan Herr and Kevin Lang have provided solid vision coming out of their zone, with Lang leading the defense in assists with three.
Rockets Hockey Club vs. Atlantic City Sharks, Saturday October 23rd: Two teams who are close in the standings and close in their goals-for and goals-against. Rockets’ forward Rhone Armijo is coming into the Showcase with a six-game point streak, racking up 10 goals and an assist in those six games. Andrew Summa led Rockets Hockey Club with a goal and an assist in the previous meeting this year between the two teams. Paul Lavigna and Connor Flynn lead the way for Atlantic City, putting up a combined 13 goals on the season, with Flynn scoring twice against Rockets previously this year.
North Jersey Aspen Kings Yellow vs. Jersey Shore Wildcats Black (Gold)
One of U14 A’s top offenses meets one of U14 A’s top defenses in this U14 A Gold match-up. The 64 goals scored by the Kings is the second-highest total in U14 A goal and third amongst both divisions. Its recent five-game winning streak saw the team score at least four goals in each game. Cameron Smith leads the way offensively with 11 goals and 19 points as U14 A’s first-place team looks to start off this weekend’s showcase strong. But to do it, they’ll have to get past one of the tougher defenses with the Jersey Shore Wildcats Black who are 7-0-1 on the season. The team has only allowed 17 goals all season, the fewest goals allowed by a team that has played at least eight games in U14 A Gold. The team also can put the puck in the back of the net and are led by Brandon Clayton’s ten goals. These teams face off Friday, October 22nd at 6:10 PM ET at JSA Blue Rink.
MYHA Blue (Silver) vs. North Jersey Avalanche Blue (Gold)
It’s a Gold vs. Silver showdown you don’t want to miss! MYHA Blue is 10-0-0 on the seasons and has outscored its opponents 77-11. The team has scored eight or more goals in five of its games this season and is led by Aidan Pham and his 22 points. The Avalanche are 5-1-0 entering this weekend and on a three-game win streak, outscoring its opponents 24-4 in that span. North Jersey also boasts a top goalie duo in Jack Walsh and Daniel Canizares who both have save percentages higher than .910. These two teams play Sunday, October 24th at 4:30 PM ET in Howell Ice Arena.
Maryland Jr. Black Bears Red vs. Brick Hockey Club (Silver)
Two high-flying offenses meet in this U14 A Silver division clash. The Maryland Jr. Black Bears Red are 6-2-0 this season and have scored 36 total goals in those games. Led by Robert Turner IV and his ten points, the Black Bears look to add on to its current six-game win streak. Brick Hockey Club however is looking to spoil the fun and continue being undefeated. They are currently 4-0-0 this year and have totaled 26 goals in those games. Brody Acropolis leads the way for Brick with 11 points in the four games. These two teams will face off Saturday, October 23rd at 7:50 PM ET at Howell Ice Arena.
New Jersey Stars vs. New Jersey Bandits
A new jersey battle that sees two top five teams in U14 B face off! The Stars are 8-1-0 this season and have outscored its opponents 50-17. The offense has been lights out and they’ve been led in between the pipes by Colin Marzullo, who has three shutouts on the season. The Bandits also boast a lethal offense and have scored a combined 50 goals as a team. They have four wins on the season and are led offensively by Marcus Braun and his 26 points. The two teams face off Saturday, October 23rd at 2:00 PM ET on Pro Skate Rink.
Grundy Senators vs. Rye Rangers
The Senators sit at 4-3-0 on the season and have won three of its last five games. It has a tough offense to stop with its two ten-goal scorers in Klim Belko and Lex Udell who have both recorded goals in each of the last three games. The Rye Rangers will make its showcase debut and look to make an impact right away. The two teams face off Sunday, October 24th at 4:00 PM ET at Pro Skate Olympic.
North Jersey Aspen Kings Red vs. North Jersey Skyland Kings White
It’s a battle of the Kings! Aspen enters the showcase with a 6-2-0 record and is only one of four teams to score over 40 goals total (49). Alex Polishko leads the way with 13 goals as Aspen looks to extend its five-game win streak. Skylands is 2-3-0 on the year and has been great defensively, allowing three or fewer goals in its last three games. Lucien Barca leads the way for Skylands with five points in as many games. The two teams will take the ice at 9:45 AM ET on Sunday, October 24th at Iceland rink.
Philadelphia Blazers National vs. Ashburn Xtreme – October 23, 10:00 AM
The undefeated Ashburn Xtreme (10-0-0) checks all of the boxes of a contending hockey team. High-powered offense, they have scored 103 scores, tops in the league. Fortified defense, they have conceded the fewest goals per game in the league at a measly figure of 1.4. The team is paced offensively by Bryan Wallace (31 G, 8 A) and Rylan MacCormick (26 G, 13 A). However, the Blazers (6-1-1) seek to disrupt this rhythm. They have won each of their last five games, including a perfect run of three games during the month of September. A tandem of Jackson Foster (9 G, 5 A) and Brennan McKee (4 G, 12 A) are the center of the Blazer attack and will look to cause problems for Ashburn’s defenders.

North Jersey Avalanche Blue vs. MYHA Blue – October 23, 11:50 AM
Likely the toughest test so far this season for the league leaders, undefeated MYHA Blue (12-0-0) will face upstart North Jersey (6-1-0) for each team’s first game of the showcase. MYHA owns a strong +43 goal differential over their hot start. MYHA turns to Braxton Menkiti to provide many of the points on the scoreboard, as he leads the league with 32 goals. Meanwhile, Cameron Augustoni provides the spark for the Avalanche, as he leads the team in goals (11) and points (14). North Jersey hopes to continue their stellar defensive play, as they are allowing fewer than 2 goals per game, on average. Either team can open their showcase slate with a loud statement.

New Jersey Stars Black vs. New Jersey Bandits – October 23, 1:00 PM
Good things happen to teams with good discipline. The Stars (4-4-1) and Bandits (5-3-0), two of the division’s more disciplined sides, will meet in this game. The Bandits lead the league in penalty minutes, only being assessed 24 PIM through their first nine games. Their strong will has kept them competitive against the league’s top competition, most notably MYHA Gold and Maryland Jr. Black Bears Red. The Stars have struggled as of late after a hot start, but this showcase is a perfect opportunity to get back on track.

Brick Hockey Club vs. MYHA Gold – October 24, 9:10 AM
Two very deep squads, Brick Hockey Club (4-3-1) and MYHA Gold (7-3-0) will face off on Sunday in what should prove to be a competitive game. Most of MYHA’s skaters have scored a point this season. The team hasn’t stood out in any one category of play, but have grit and a determination to win. This determination has resulted in seven of their last eight games ending in victory. Brick Hockey Club also shares the same scoring trait, with only one skater remaining scoreless. The side also seems to find another gear when playing highly touted opponents. They knocked off the Blazers and played competitively against the Maryland Jr. Black Bears Red. Time will tell if this gear will factor into this matchup.
Philadelphia Blazers American vs. Jersey Shore Wildcats Red – October 22, 6:50 PM
The undefeated Blazers (6-0-0) will have to work hard to keep their flawless record when they face the Wildcats (6-0-2) on Friday night. The Blazers have been off to an outstanding start on defense, only allowing 7 goals through their first six games. Each of their goalies have recorded a shutout and Jackson Gwardyak has also recorded a .923 SV% through their first two starts. The team also has scoring talent throughout the roster, headlined by Declan Henes (12 G, 11 A). The Wildcats also have a high powered offense, as scoring is distributed throughout all three forward lines. However, the offensive spark largely comes from team scoring leader, defenseman Mason Levine (5 G, 7 A). The team also has a very reliable goaltender in Maya Sturm, as they have recorded an impressive .910 SV%. Few better ways to start the weekend than this showdown.

Haverford Hawks vs. Brick Hockey Club 2 – October 23, 3:45 PM
Brick Hockey Club 2 (6-3-0) will look to continue their roll heading into this showcase when they face Haverford (7-0-0). Brick Hockey Club has won each of their last four games, including a 3-0 shutout over Tomorrow’s Ice North Stars Red in their last game. Featuring plenty of prolific forwards, three have at least five goals this season. Haverford won’t be an easy game, though, as the team has displayed talent in all aspects of the game. Every skater has an average of at least 0.5 points per game, the team has conceded fewer than two goals per game, on average, and Harrison Kool has been a force in net, cruising to a .947 SV% in their first four starts. Two deep teams will make for an entertaining game to watch.

Team Philadelphia Orange vs. Delaware Ducks 2 – October 24, 4:50 PM
Should these teams continue their momentum from earlier this season, someone’s “oh” has got to go when Philadelphia (10-0-0) and Delaware (7-0-0) close out their showcase slate. Philadelphia has three forwards with over 20 points on the season and every skater has registered at least a point this season. They stand on top of the division, and for very good reason. Delaware has registered a goal differential of +42 and has displayed great defense, only allowing 12 goals through their seven games. The team also has strong scoring depth, as every skater has at least three points. Jacob Schultz has also been outstanding in net. These two top teams are certain to put on a show.
Atlantic City Sharks vs. Haverford Hawks White – October 23, 9:45 AM
The division’s top two teams are set to do battle to get their showcase under way on Saturday. Atlantic City (8-0-0) sits in second place after going undefeated through their first eight games this season. Their offensive attack has been nearly uncontainable this season, scoring 84 goals. Three players lead the way with double-digit goal tallies and at least 20 points. Haverford (9-1-0) sits in first place with outstanding defense, only allowing 9 goals through their opening 10 games. They will look to bounce back from their first loss of the season, a 4-2 decision to Hollydell Hurricanes Black in their last game, after starting the year with nine wins. In a classic battle of defensive game plan vs. offensive attack, only one can win.

Team Philadelphia vs. New Jersey Stars – October 24, 7:30 AM
Team Philadelphia (5-1-0) will hope to continue their hot start when they meet tough opposition in New Jersey (6-3-1). Philadelphia has a strong offensive attack, averaging 6 goals per game. They are led by Brooks Angelo, as they have racked up 11 goals and 6 assists to begin the season. New Jersey also has a high powered offense, scoring 61 goals through 10 games. Four forwards have at least 10 points. Leonard Rybakov leads the way with 25 points (16 G, 9 A). The first time these teams met, Philadelphia emerged with a statement win on August 28. Will they be able to repeat that result or will New Jersey respond?

Jersey Shore Wildcats Black vs. Igloo Jaguars – October 24, 10:10 AM
Two teams with 6 wins will meet on Saturday in a matchup between Jersey Shore (6-0-0) and the Igloo Jaguars (6-2-0). The Wildcats have a very strong offense, tallying 71 goals through their first six games. Every forward has at least 6 points while three have double-digit goals this season. Their attack has not been slowed once this season, as they have not scored fewer than 5 goals in a game this season. The Jaguars have a well-rounded game plan, earning a goal differential of +23. They are led offensively by Trey Frederico, as he has 10 goals and 9 assists on the season. They also have solid team defense, allowing no more than 6 goals in a game this season. This statistic will be put to the test, however, against Wildcats.
North Jersey Avalanche (4-0-0, 19 GF, 6A): A solid performance by North Jersey boosted them up to the fourth position in the U12AA standings. Both Davin Friedman and Shane Papaccioli had six goals on the weekend, while Peter McAdams and Jack DeBlinger helped the Avalanche limit the opponents to only 21 shots a game. Ryan Kovacs and Christopher Schulz teamed up for a 1.50 GAA on the weekend for the Avs.
Igloo Jaguars (3-1-0, 16 GF, 7 GA): Led by Tyler Reillo’s six goals and Kyler Johnson’s six assists, the Jaguars were able to move their way into the top-four of the U12AA standings. Solid defensive play by Owen Jenkins and Andrew Krott provided fits for the opponents, with Chase Kishler and Tyler Davis standing tall between the pipes and combining for a 1.75 GAA.
Rye Rangers (3-1-0, 20 GF, 12 GA): In their first Showcase, the Rangers put out a big display. Rogan Lester (4g, 3), Owen Nates (5g, 1a), and Liam Heffernan (2g, 3a) helped out offensively, while Dillion Sykes and Will Leahy helped on the defensive side of the puck. Chayce Turnbull was solid in net, leaving the Showcase with a 2.00 GAA on the weekend.
Maryland Jr. Black Bears (3-1-0, 14 GF, 13 GA): Maryland doubled their win total in the AHF during the Showcase, thanks in part to Eric Bieda, Gavin Monaco, and Cole Zoren putting up multi-goal games during the weekend. Maryland had plenty of contributions up and down the line-up, helping them to their three win weekend.
