Last season ended on one of the biggest stages in youth hockey.

15 AHF teams competed for a USA Hockey National Championship.

Now? The records reset, the rosters reload and a brand-new chase begins.

AHF HOCKEY IS BACK IN ONE WEEK!

The 2026-27 Atlantic Hockey Federation season is ready to hit the ice with the first AHF Season Kickoff Showcase, bringing teams together for a packed opening weekend of hockey August 28-30.

After an offseason of tryouts, training, new teammates and plenty of waiting, it’s finally time to lace ‘em up, hit the ice and find out what this season has in store.

Who’s Hitting the Ice?

The first wave of AHF teams gets things started with the 10U-14U Gretzky, McDavid and Lemieux Divisions, plus 16U Lemieux, 16U Gretzky and 18U Gretzky.

Expect new-look rosters, first-game energy and plenty of teams ready to make an early statement.

And if your team isn’t up first? Don’t worry — your turn is coming.

One week later, the Season Kickoff keeps rolling as the 8U AAA and 9U-18U AA Divisions jump into the action September 4-6.

Two weekends. A whole lot of hockey. And the official start of another AHF season.

The Season Kickoff is just the beginning! With AHF Showcase weekends scheduled throughout the 2026-27 season, there will be plenty more opportunities for teams to hit the ice, face new competition and make their mark.

New Clubs Join the AHF

There will be a few new jerseys around the rink this season, too!

The AHF is excited to welcome the Montclair Blues and Genesis Hockey Club to the league for 2026-27.

New opponents mean new matchups, new rivalries and even more competition across the league — and we can’t wait to see both clubs in the AHF mix this season.

Can’t Make It to the Rink? We’ve Got You.

The action doesn’t have to stop when you leave the rink — and this season, following along just got even better.

All AHF Showcase games played at Black Bear Sports Group rinks can be streamed on Black Bear TV, giving family, friends and fans a chance to catch the action from wherever they are.

And for 2026-27, Black Bear TV is bringing some exciting new features along for the ride.

Beginning this fall, eligible AHF games scored using Time to Score will feature Auto-Generated Highlights, available exclusively to Black Bear TV Premium subscribers.

That means after the game, you can skip the search and get right to the good stuff.

🥅 Goals

🧤 Saves

The big moments will automatically populate under the Highlights tab in the game’s media player on the Black Bear TV website.

From there, Premium subscribers can browse, save, share and download their favorite moments — whether it’s a game-winning goal, a huge save or a play that deserves to be watched on repeat.

Premium subscribers also get access to Live DVR, 30-Day On-Demand Replay, Game Downloads, two-user login access and additional clipping and sharing features.

So whether you’re in the stands, watching from home or sending that highlight straight to the family group chat, there are even more ways to follow the action this season.

A New Chase Starts Now

Last season showed just how far AHF teams can go.

This season, everyone starts in the same place: 0-0.

New teams will emerge. New rivalries will take shape. New players will make their mark. And over the months ahead, teams across the AHF will battle to see who can take their season all the way from opening weekend to the postseason — and beyond.

The schedules are coming together. The rosters are set. The rinks are waiting.

Now there’s only one thing left to do.

Drop. The. Puck.

The road through the 2026-27 AHF season starts NEXT WEEK at the Season Kickoff Showcase.

Stay tuned to the AHF Game Center throughout the weekend for schedules, scores, standings and results, follow the AHF on social media for action from around the rinks, and check out Black Bear TV Premium packages to make sure you don’t miss a moment.
