The Hurricanes went undefeated over their four games this weekend thanks to a team effort that yielded a goal differential of +23. The team opened the weekend with consecutive shutouts over New Jersey Aspen Kings Yellow and Royals Hockey Club American, only permitting 29 shots between the two opposing offenses. The team also earned two wins on Sunday. Hollydell was lifted to a 7-2 and 7-3 wins thanks to 2 goals in each game from Gavin Ehret. After a tough loss to open the showcase, the Wildcats rebounded in a big way, winning their following three games for a 3-1-0 weekend. In a win over the Delaware Ducks, James Burke and Zachary McDow each recorded a hat trick and added an assist. In a thriller, Jersey Shore came out on top of the Igloo Jaguars by a 4-3 margin after C.J. White potted the game winner in the third period. On the weekend, the Wildcats clawed their way to a +14 goal differential. This performance moved the team’s record to a slick 9-1-0.

Maryland Jr. Black Bears Gold
Throughout a very tough schedule, the Jr. Black Bears persevered to a 3-1 record. In the showcase opener, the team held tight on defense, stifling the Aspen Kings en route to a 3-0 win. In the following effort against the Philadelphia Blazers, seven different skaters scored in a victory. The team’s third win came in a shootout over Team Philadelphia, as Kyler Porzillo served as the hero in the skills competition. Following a strong showing in a loss to the Atlantic City Sharks to close the weekend, Maryland stands at 9-4-1 on the season.

New Jersey Bandits National
Over a four-game slate, the Bandits were perfect, winning all four games. Over their two games on Saturday, New Jersey outscored their opponents 11-3. Sunday’s match-ups were much closer. The Bandits pulled off a 4-2 win over Haverford Hawks White with a key third period goal from Dean Tsocanos. They closed their schedule in a 7-6 barnburner with Atlantic City, earning a shootout win. The team roared back from a four-goal deficit to force the tiebreaker. The flawless weekend moves the Bandits to a 9-3-0 record.
