Team Philadelphia Black (4-0-0, 37 GF, 2 GA): Coming into the tournament undefeated at 6-0-0, Team Philadelphia Black made sure they left the Showcase undefeated. Asserting dominance in every aspect of the games, Team Philadelphia held teams to only 52 shots on goal in their four games. Not only that, their goal-scoring was spread around with 14 different goal-scorers in the Showcase, with Ben Falicki (8) and Anthony Logiurato (7) leading the way.
Grundy Senators (4-0-0, 17 GF, 7 GA): With an undefeated record in the Showcase, Grundy is at the top of the U16 A Gold standings. Logan Doyle had a breakout weekend with four goals in the team’s first game and six overall for the weekend. The team defense held the opposition to under 20 shots-per-game, while Ricky Gonzalez recorded a .922 save percentage and Aidan Hullings had a 1.50 GAA with both finishing with two wins a piece.
Brick Hockey Club (4-0-0, 23 GF, 11 GA): Even though they are denoted as a Silver Division team, Brick played three of their four games against Gold Division rivals and came out victorious in every one. Aidan Rozell was stellar again, putting home five goals and adding four assists on the weekend. Thomas Findley helped with the offense with two goals and five points on the weekend.
