MYHA Blue stayed at the top spot in the U18 AA standings, going 4-0-0 at the showcase and improving to 9-1-0 overall. MYHA Blue was dominant, outscoring its opponents 25-7 with players contributing from up and down the lineup. Seamus McNally extended his point streak to six games, using the four games this past weekend to score five goals and eight points.
North Jersey Avalanche
The North Jersey Avalanche jumped into second place in U18 AA this past weekend, going 4-0-0 and improved its win streak to nine games. The Aves outscored its opponents 27-5 and were led by Luke Hulbert’s excellent weekend performance, scoring five goals and eight points.
Ashburn Xtreme
The Ashburn Xtreme is another team that was able to go 4-0-0 this past weekend, improving to 7-1-0 and moving to third in the 18U AA standings. The Xtreme outscored its opponents 26-8 and were led by the team’s leading point scorer Andrew Kurowski, who tallied six goals and eleven points. Ashburn also got a big goaltending performance from Leo Quattron, turning aside 20 shots in a 4-0 win over the Haverford Hawks.
