The AHF announces the Players of the Week for the week ending December 4th, 2022. The Players of the Week is a weekly feature during the 2022-23 season that honors players in all divisions. Only players that are nominated by their respective teams are considered.

“Blake stopped 44 shots from a very skilled and 2nd place York Devils team. Blake was able to keep the game competitive until deep into the 3rd period,” said Coach Mark Gallagher.

“Liam demonstrated a weekend of 200’ play. He earned our player of the game award on Saturday and played the same way again on Sunday. He showed his team the value of hard work!” said Coach Brian Hennelly.

“Gabe played outstanding on the Blue Line this weekend limiting scoring chances and helping us quickly transition to our offensive attack. He had a key assist on our opening goal to help us with a big upset victory over the weekend. Great job Gabe!” said Coach Mark Krull.

“Nathaniel had a great game on Saturday keeping the score close in the first period and stopping all remaining shot after. His play in the first really allowed us to come back in that game,” said Coach Mike Herhal.

“Cooper is developing into an excellent shutdown defenseman. He digs in on the back end without complaint or blame. He plays hard, hasn’t missed a single practice, and is one of the most improved players on the team. He played a ton of minutes this past weekend and held his head high the entire time,” said Coach Ryan Sheehan.
