About

SABRES HOCKEY

The Sabre Hockey Association was originally founded as the Naperville Hockey League, Inc. in 1971. In 1975, the club, newly renamed the Naperville Hockey Association, expanded its goal, now "...organized and operated exclusively for the teaching of ice hockey skill and rules to youth and the application thereof through participation in competitive play." The core values, then as now, always focused on the development of our children through the sport of hockey.

Responding to a growing membership that now spanned multiple western suburban communities, on October 18th, 1993, the club again changed its name to the current Sabre Hockey Association. Since then, the association's participation has more than doubled.
