The Atlantic Hockey Federation (AHF) has welcomed the Red Bank Generals Hockey Club as a member for the upcoming 2024-25 season. The Generals, based in Red Bank, New Jersey, bring a rich history and a commitment to excellence, making them a valuable addition to the federation.
The Red Bank Generals Hockey Club is currently in its twenty-second season, establishing itself as one of the premier youth organizations on the East Coast. Catering to youth hockey players aged 6-18, the Generals field an impressive 22 teams, comprising 335 talented players at various levels – Mite, Squirt, Peewee, Bantam, and Midget. This diverse range of teams ensures that young players of all skill levels have the opportunity to develop and thrive within the organization.
The Generals proudly call the Red Bank Armory Ice Complex their home, a historic venue with a storied past. Originally a military training facility constructed at the turn of the century, the Armory housed cavalry and mechanized units until 1988. In 1998, it underwent a transformative change, transitioning into a community hub for ice-related activities.
The Armory has recently undergone remarkable renovations, solidifying its status as a premier destination for youth hockey players. The upgrades include two state-of-the-art locker rooms, an Olympic weight room, cardio room, yoga room, RapidShot training facility, two sheets of Glice synthetic ice, a racquetball court, a golf simulator, and a Generals Club/Lounge exclusively for players and parents. The complete lobby revitalization adds a touch of modernity to this historic venue, making it the ideal setting for fostering the development of young hockey talents.
