Patryk tied for second in total scoring amongst U13 AA skaters with seven points on the weekend. He was smart with the puck and made the right plays when needed.

Max Godshall, Team Philadelphia
Max was a goal-a-game player this past weekend, scoring four times in as many games. He also showed off his passing ability as well, totaling three assists.

Ethan Hong, Ashburn Xtreme
Ethan finished with the second most goals amongst U13 AA skaters with five. He used his offensive skills to get to where he needed to be to score.

Peyton Murphy, North Jersey Avalanche
Peyton lead his team in scoring with four goals and five points in just three games. His two goals and assist against the Rockets Hockey Club helped power the Aves to a 6-1 win.

Christopher Marshall, Grundy Senators
Not only can Christopher play defense, but he can also put up offensive numbers too! His five points in three games this past weekend were the most amongst defensemen in the U13 AA division.

Lucas put up a point-per-game in his three contests this weekend, displaying his talents at both ends of the ice.

Aiden Chun, North Jersey Avalanche
Aden’s two goals were the second most goals scored amongst defensemen for the U13 AA division. He played well at both ends of the ice and showcased his athleticism.

Ronan Ivins, Tomorrow’s Ice Selects
Ronan played strong for Tomorrow’s Ice Selects this past weekend. He recorded two points in four games and displayed skill and awareness on both ends of the ice.

Mathew was an anchor on defense for the Kings this past weekend. He played strong in the defensive zone and got an assist in a 6-1 win over Tomorrow’s Ice Selects.

Declan Geary, Team Philadelphia
Declan faced the most shots (71) of any goalie who played multiple games in U13 AA. Despite the large workload, Declan found a way to make 67 saves and go 2-0 on the weekend with a shutout.

Carson Ramsey, Ashburn Xtreme
Carson went 2-0 on the weekend and only allowed one goal on 32 shots. His save percentage (.970) and goals-against average (0.50) were the best amongst U13 AA goalies who played multiple games.

Ryan Felenstien, North Jersey Avalanche
Ryan was strong in between the pipes for the Aves this weekend, recording a shutout win and a .910 save percentage.

Ian Seitz, Atlantic City Sharks
Ian displayed excellent skills and athleticism this past weekend for the Sharks. He was a crucial part of the Sharks’ 3-2 win over Team Philadelphia, making 21 saves.

Lucas Egan, New Jersey Bandits,
Lucas showed poise and skill for the Bandits this past weekend. He made 18 saves against the North Jersey Aspen Kings Black in a 5-3 Bandits win.
York Devils vs. North Jersey Avalanche
The York Devils enter this weekend’s showcase with an 8-1-1 record and are tied for first in U18 A with the North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue. One of the two losses for York? A 3-2 shootout loss to the Avalanche back in August. They are the highest-scoring team in the league with 49 total goals scored and have the best goal differential with a +28 margin. They have four players with over a point-per-game average and are led by Anthony Woodard’s eight goals and 15 points (both lead the team). The North Jersey Avalanche is the second highest-scoring team with 45 total goals. The Aves are third in 18U A with a 6-2-1 record and are led by U18 A’s leading goal (11) and point scorer (16) Camilo Ramirez. The game will take place Saturday, September 25th at 2:50 PM ET.
North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue vs. Maryland Jr. Black Bears
This match-up boasts two top-five teams in the U18 A division. The Aspen Kings are 8-1-1 and have allowed the lowest amount of goals against (18) amongst teams that have played more than five games. Ryan Solotist leads the way offensively for the Kings, recording 13 points in ten games. This total is good enough for the fifth-highest in 18U A. The Maryland Jr. Black Bears are fifth in U18 A with a record of 5-3-0. Offensively they are led by Edmond O’Connell with nine goals and eleven points while being held down in between the pipes by Alexander Nalepa and his .930 save percentage. The last time these two teams met the Kings defeated the Black Bears 3-0. This match-up will take place on Sunday, September 26th at 9:30 AM ET.
MYHA Gold vs. New Jersey Bandits
MYHA Gold head into the showcase undefeated with a record of 5-0-0 while scoring 32 goals in those games. They have two undefeated goalies in Julien Piche and Federick Horowitz who both have a save percentage higher than .920 and three players with over a point per game average. The New Jersey Bandits are 4-3-0, scoring 28 goals in those games. Mathew Healey’s eight assists are good enough for being tied for third in 18U A in that category. MYHA won the prior game in August by a score of 7-2. This game will take place on Saturday, September 25th at 11:20 AM ET.
MYHA Blue vs. Grundy Senators
This match-up highlights the top two teams in the U18 AA division. MYHA Blue currently leads U18 AA with a record of 5-1-0 and a league-best +27 goal differential. Forward TJ Kouba leads U18 AA in point scoring with 15 points in just six games. Goalie Sebastien Blanc leads the way in the net with a 3-0-0 record. He has only allowed two goals in those three games. The Grundy Senators are second in U18 AA with a 5-3-0 record. Michael McVey’s 11 points, the Senators are tied with the North Jersey Avalanche for the highest goal total in the league with 38. This will be the first meeting between these two teams. It will take place Saturday, September 25th at 6:50 PM ET.
North Jersey Avalanche vs. Delaware Ducks
The Avalanche enter this weekend’s showcase tied with the Senators for the highest-scoring team in the league with 38 total goals. The Ave’s 5-5-0 record is good enough for third in U18 AA. Led by forwards Jack Flatley and Danny Mauriber (both with 13 points), the Aves look to use a strong offensive attack to slow down the Delaware Ducks. The Ducks (3-3-0) are on a two-game win streak and are led by forward Nicholas Lawson and his nine points. This will also be the first meeting between these two teams. The game will be played on Saturday, September 25th at 9:30 AM ET.
Philadelphia Blazers vs. Ashburn Xtreme
The Blazers enter the showcase with a perfect 4-0-0 record and have outscored its opponents 28-3. They have received excellent goaltending performances from Anthony Perti and Colin McKey who both have save percentages over .930 while scoring at least six or more goals in three of its four games. The Ashburn Xtreme are 3-1-0 and have scored 30 goals in that span. Led by Andrew Kurowski and his 13 points (good enough for second in U18 AA), they look to avenge its loss to the Blazers back in August by a score of 3-1. The game will take place Saturday, September 25th at 5:10 PM ET.
FORWARDS
Nathan Ciccarelli, North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue
The two-way forward has shown a lot of grit in his game this season. Not afraid to mix it up in the corners, Ciccarelli has been a source of energy for North Jersey, putting up three points in seven divisional games.
Stephen Gresch, Hollydell Hurricanes Red
With 12 points in the teams first 11 games, Gresch is showing his leadership on the scoresheet; but behind the scenes, the respect of his teammates show his leadership off the rink. With plenty of hockey sense and solid hands, Gresch will be a threat for Hollydell this showcase.
Tucker Graham, Team Philadelphia
A proven goal scorer, Graham has seven goals in six AHF match-ups this season, tallying a hat trick in the August Showcase. With a keen nose for the net, Graham will be a big offensive player for Team Philadelphia this coming weekend.
Connor Hall, Montgomery Youth Hockey Blue
In his last two AHF match-ups, Hall has potted three goals and added four assists. Hall has climbed through the Montgomery AA ranks the past three years, but this one he has discovered a scoring touch to compliment his solid passing ability.
Nicholas Marino, New Jersey Bandits
With seven goals in five AHF contests, Marino has been a big bright spot for this Bandits team. Marino is in his second season at the U16 AA level and looks to have found his footing, surpassing his goal total from last year in 13 fewer games.
Landon Street, Ashburn Xtreme
After a strong season last year, Street is continuing that trend this year with nine points in four AHF games this season. Coming off a better than point-per-game season last year at the U16 AA level, Street’s skill and natural playmaking ability continues to mature as he does.
Caden Hall, York Devils
After a year off, Hall hasn’t missed a step with seven points in six AHF match-ups. Hall is able to evenly distribute the puck when needed and uses his hockey sense to know when he needs to shoot the puck.
DEFENSE
Tommy Ryerson, North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue
Ryerson has been crucial for the North Jersey offense by being able to hold the blue line and keep possession going for the team. He’s also not afraid of getting physical, using his big frame to his advantage against the opposition.
Hayden Shield, York Devils
With a good first touch, Shield is one of the main components starting up the York offense. With solid footwork and vision, Shield provides a solid option from the blue line, but he’s not afraid to throw the body around against the opponents to stake his claim in his own zone.
Colton Weiss, Igloo Jaguars Black
One of the top scoring defenseman, Weiss has five points in five AHF contests so far. Weiss has come into his own this year offensively, taking more chances with the puck, which as yield solid offensive returns for the Jaguars.
Johans Bars, North Jersey Skyland Kings Navy
A solid puck-moving blueliner, Bars has been a solid on the point for the Skyland Kings. With three goals so far this season, Bars shows that he’s not afraid to take a shot when he’s needed to. He won’t force a shot, however, knowing when to find the open man for a better opportunity.
GOALIE
Dante DeFruscio, Team Philadelphia
With two of his three games in the AHF being shutouts, it’s not hard to see why DeFruscio is one of the top goalies in the U16 AA. Aided by a solid team in front of him, DeFruscio is able to see plenty of pucks coming his way and knows he’ll get plenty of goal support.
John Castle, York Devils
Sporting a 1.50 GAA in six games in the AHF, Castle has helped York go undefeated in those contests. Castle has only let up two goals in his last three starts for York and has been a big part of their success this season.
Zach Carter and Bailen Smargiassi, Hollydell Hurricanes Red
Both Carter and Smargiassi are backbones for the Hurricanes this season. Both have faced an average of 35 shots a game and have made big saves to keep Hollydell in many of their match-ups this season.

Tyler Skolnick, Philadelphia Blazers
Tyler, for being one of the smaller kids on the team, plays with the most heart. He never is afraid to get hit or throw his weight around. His speed and handling ability result in numerous scoring opportunities for his team. He has three goals and four points so far this season.

Michael Gionco, North Jersey Aspen Kings Yellow
Michael is an excellent team player with a great sense for the game of hockey. He posses a wicked shot which has helped him tally four goals and six points through his team’s first nine games.

Griffin Hoch, MYHA Gold
Griffin is a fast, physical forward who can create space and opportunity for scoring opportunities for his team. He has a very accurate shot which has helped him score twice so far this season.

Camilo Ramirez, North Jersey Avalanche
Camilo has had an excellent start to the season, leading U18 A in goals (11) and points (16). Camilo has an excellent sense for the game and is a threat with the puck every time they’re in the offensive zone.

Sean Pedersen, North Jersey Aspen Kings Yellow
Sean is a hardworking forward that has excellent skating ability. He is a great back checker and makes an impact on both ends of the ice. Sean has recorded four points in his first six games.

Eric Scheleur, Maryland Jr. Black Bears
Eric is a player to watch out for due to his ability to find the back of the net during important times in the game, as well as his strong skating. He has six points in eight games so far this season.

DEFENSE:

Chris Kay, North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue
Chris has proven to be effective both defensively and offensively. He is the highest-scoring defenseman in U18 A, recording four goals and ten points. He has only gone pointless twice in his first eight games of the season, showing he is a consistent point scorer.

Lucas Guinan, Philadelphia Blazers
Lucas has an excellent sense for the game of hockey. He knows where every play is going to end up and uses his speed to get himself involved.

David Gruhn, MYHA Gold
David loves to use his size and physical ability to his advantage, getting physical to cause turnovers. He is a vocal leader on the ice and has two assists so far this season.

Tyler Kulbanskiy, North Jersey Avalanche
Tyler is productive on both ends of the ice. He is smart in his own zone and can produce offensively too, scoring two goals and eight points in his first nine games. Tyler has been heating up as of late, recording five points in his last three games.

Colin Barrett, MYHA Gold
Colin controls the puck in his own zone and outworks his opponents. He does a great job leading breakouts with a mix of good vision and passing while also always working hard to keep the puck in the zone.

Vincenzo Palome, North Jersey Aspen Kings Yellow
Vincenzo has a great work ethic in net and gives it his all every game. He is dedicated to getting better every game and never gives up on the play.

Phillip Togno, North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue
Phillip has been dynamite for his team so far and is entering the showcase riding a three-game shutout streak. Those three shutouts he recorded are good enough to lead U18 A in shutouts. He has a goals-against-average of only 1.37 and has proven to be consistent and focused in between the pipes.

Taylor West, Team Philadelphia
Taylor has only started two games so far this season and has been spectacular in them, recording shutouts in both games. He is quick and consistent in between the pipes.

Colin McQuade, York Devils
Colin enters this weekend with a 6-2 record, winning his last three games. He has come up with 20 plus saves his past two wins as he continues to demonstrate why he is one of the top goalies in U18 A.

Alexander Napela, Maryland Jr. Black Bears
Alexander has proven his worth in between the pipes, turning aside at least 20 shots in every game he has played in. He uses his vision and athleticism to be consistent and help his team win. Alexander has won his last two starts.
Haverford Hawks vs. Atlantic City Sharks, September 25th, 9:50 AM
Both of these teams have had plenty of close match-ups leading up to this point, which will make this probably one of the tighter contests of the showcase. Sharks’ goalie Casey Smith has only allowed eight goals in 116 shots against (.931 save percentage), while Haverford has a goals-per-game average of 3.7 over six AHF games. One big plus for Haverford is how they’re able to distribute their goal-scoring with 11 players having at least a goal in AHF contests. Atlantic City prides themselves on defense, however, allowing an average of 25 shots a game in their five games this season.
Montgomery Youth Hockey Blue vs. North Jersey Skyland Kings Navy, September 25th, 11:50 AM
Two teams who have identical records (5-0-0) and identical goal differential (+18) will battle on Saturday morning. North Jersey’s Ayden Greenberg has five goals in five games and will try to continue his hot streak. Greenberg will have back-up, as Braden Peck and Robbie Myshkoff have four goals of their own this season. They’ll have to go up against Liam Jukas, who sports a 0.99 GAA, as well as the rest of the Blue Devils defense that has held their opposition to 20.6 shots-per-game. Not to mention Connor Hall for Montgomery, who has 10 points in five games.
York Devils vs. Ashburn Xtreme, September 25th, 2:25 PM
Two teams with explosive offenses and stingy defenses will go head-to-head on Saturday. York has been on a roll in AHF play, letting in only two goals in their last three division contests, while Ashburn has only been held to under five goals once in AHF play. Ashburn’s Landon Street’s 2.25 points-per-game this season is tops in the U16 AA division, while Jack Kline and Paul Allison have provided some scoring punch of the Xtreme, as well. York, however, likes to move the puck around with 16 skaters having at least one point this season. Add that to John Castle’s solid performance in net so far, this might be the marquee match-up of the showcase.
Philadelphia Blazers vs. Team Philadelphia – Sept. 24, 8:00 PM
Kicking off the showcase with a bang, the two Philadelphia squads will meet in a battle for the lead in the U15 AA standings. The teams will both enter the game with eight points through their first six games, owning identical 4-2-0 records. The Blazers have leaned on their group-leading 23 goals, paced by team-leader Colin Fera (4 goals). Meanwhile, Team Philadelphia has relied on fantastic defense and stellar netminding of Shahzad Bolduc (.923 save %, leads group) and Justin Koehler (.914 save %). Team Philadelphia has posted the best goal differential among all U15 AA teams, scoring 11 more goals than they have allowed.
Tomorrow’s Ice Selects vs. North Jersey Avalanche – Sept. 25, 11:40 AM
This game will feature two mid-standings teams battling to improve position and close the gap on the league leaders. North Jersey, who enter the showcase in third place, own a record of 2-3-0 through their first five games and will look for more standout performances from U15 AA leading point-scorer, Tommy Corazza (2 G, 7 A), and joint goals leader, Filip Hidas (6 goals). The Ice Selects, who enter the showcase in fourth place, own a 1-2-1 record through their first four games. They are led on the point sheet by Peter Mood (4 G, 1 A) and Ryan Kulak (1 G, 4 A).
FORWARDS
Devin Valeri, Hollydell Hurricanes Gold
A big presence in front, Valeri has been a top producer for the Hurricanes so far this season. A threat in the blue paint, Valeri causes plenty of havoc in front and gets rewarded for taking the abuse in front of the net.
James Smack, Maryland Jr. Black Bears White
With 16 goals in five AHF games, it’s safe to say that Smack has plenty of offensive upside to his game. A natural in scoring, Smack has hat-tricks in four of his five games played for the Jr. Black Bears.
Nicholas Calandra, Jersey Shore Wildcats Red
In only eight games, Calandra has posted 21 goals for Jersey Shore; far eclipsing his 12 goals in 18 games last season in U16 A. While he did have better than a point-per-game last season in U16 A, Calandra has used that season as a huge jumping off point heading into this season.
Aidan Rozell, Brick Hockey Club
In only nine games, Rozell has matched his output from last season in U16 A with six goals and 13 points in half as many games last year. With a solid showing in the August Showcase, Rozell is looking to take control on the bigger stage once again.
Ryan Jarvie, Atlantic City Sharks
In his first year with Atlantic City, Jarvie has made quite an impression with 10 points in his first six games. Jarvie has great vision of the ice and solid decision making when it comes to handling the puck.
Patrick Shearn, Grundy Senators
With a balanced attack, Shearn provides a dual threat in the offense for the Senators. While he does have a solid goal scoring touch, his ability to dish the puck to his teammates around him keeps the defense guessing on what he’ll do when he has the puck.
Ethan Bui, Hollydell Hurricanes Gold
While he might not be the biggest on the team, Bui’s heart and speed make up for that. A vicious back-checker, Bui won’t back down from the competition and will give as good as he gets. Many feel that he’s one of the top defensive forwards in the division.
DEFENSE
Tony Brandl, Jersey Shore Wildcats Black
Brandl leads his squad with 10 goals this season, which is a huge feat for the blue-liner. A solid puck moving defenseman, Brandl not only adds offense; but he makes sure to be as responsible in his own end to help out his goalies.
Tyler Peterson, North Jersey Aspen Kings Grey
A solid puck-moving defenseman, Peterson leads all defenders across the division with eight assists on the season so far. The right-handed shot defenseman has solid vision of the ice in order to find his teammates for prime scoring chances.
Gavin Nace, Hollydell Hurricanes White
Even though he’s one of the more undersized defenders, Nace has put up a 2.25 points-per-game mark in AHF play this season. You’d never know that Nace is in his first season of U16 A hockey, but uses his solid skating talent to close any gap there may have been coming into the year.
GOALIE
Cody Arnold and Lucas Vellequette, New Jersey Jets
Arnold and Vellequette sport the lowest goals-against in the division with only two goals against given up between the two. Arnold has three shutouts on the season and Vellequette has one in a combined 255 minutes of AHF game time.
Owen El-Attar, Delaware Ducks
Having only let up three goals in four games, El-Attar has been solid for Delaware this season. With a 0.75 GAA and .950 save percentage, El-Attar has been one of the top goalies in the division.
Shane Brannick, Atlantic City Sharks
Brannick has played over 300 minutes this season and has a 2.17 GAA and .910 save percentage. In his six games this season, Brannick has only allowed more than one goal twice on the season.
Grundy Senators vs. North Jersey Aspen Kings Grey, September 24th, 6:50 PM
This game is a rematch of an epic at the opening showcase, which saw an eight-round shootout end with Grundy coming out on top. The Senators are coming in hot with a five-game winning streak in AHF and top scorer Evan Eisler having eight points (5g, 3a) in his last four games. North Jersey matches that with Nick Falco in the line-up, who has 13 points (10g, 3a) in seven games this season. These teams are separated by only two points in the AHF U16 A Gold standings.
Jersey Shore Wildcats Black vs. Delaware Ducks, September 24th, 7:15 PM
One of the highest scoring teams in the division will take on one of the toughest defenses in the division. Six players from Jersey Shore have five or more goals on the season: Tony Brandl (10), Nicholas Fanizza (9), Jason Sassano (9), Michael Rivelli (5), Matthew Doherty (5), and Daniel Daluise (5). For Delaware, only Paul Cisar (7) and Kevin Christensen (5) have over five goals; they have limited teams to only 13.4 shots-per-game in their five games this season.
St. James (Showcase) vs. York Devils, September 25th, 11:20 AM
Two teams at the middle of the table for the U16 A Silver have plenty to play for to crack the top-four on the division. St. James as a Showcase-only squad has plenty to prove in a shorter time. Both Ian Martin (2g, 3a) and Colin Regan (3g, 1a) have done well upfront for the offense with Bennett Mullin (3g) and Marcus Rector (3a) providing support on the backend. Rylan Schneider has been a star for York with 14 goals in seven games, while he has plenty of support from Colin Chapman (2g, 6a) and Gavin Smith (3g, 3a).

John Scavetta, North Jersey Skyland Kings Navy
John is a big, strong two-way player who possesses great skating abilities and a deadly shot. He is very competitive and can play both offense and defense. John leads his team with six points in six games.

Trevor Smith, Delaware Ducks
Trevor has a high motor and great skating abilities. He is strong along the boards and is a great leader on the ice. Trevor is currently tied for the team lead in goals with six on the season.

TJ Kouba, MYHA Blue
TJ leads one of the top offenses in U18 AA with a league-leading 15 points in just six games. He possesses great offensive instinct and has a very well-rounded skill set.

Andrew Kurowski, Ashburn Xtreme
Andrew’s 13 points in just four games are not only good enough for the second-highest total in U18 AA but the highest points-per-game average in the league (3.25. points per game). He is a threat every time he touches the puck in the offensive zone.

Brian Kincaid, North Jersey Skyland Kings Navy
Brian has a high hockey IQ and is an excellent decision-maker when he has the puck. He can finish plays and has a strong vision on the ice.

Trent Lofland, Delaware Ducks
Trent is a skilled player with good vision and passing ability. He is a relentless defender who is very effective in using body position to win many puck battles and never gives up on a play.

Jake King, North Jersey Avalanche
Jake’s 12 points this season is the highest point total among defensemen in 18U AA. He is currently riding a six-game point streak, showing he can be an impact player on both ends of the ice.

William Thyberg, North Jersey Skyland Kings Navy
William is a strong skating defenseman who has a great ability to lead breaks out of his own zone. He has a competitive edge and can produce offensively when his team names him.

Luke Gutman, MYHA Blue
Luke can play great hockey in both the offensive and defensive zone. He has recorded a point in every game he has played this season, totaling four goals and nine points.

Daniel Testa, North Jersey Skyland Kings Navy
Daniel has a very high hockey IQ and excellent passing abilities. Not only is he a great skater, but he can play both offense and defense.

Brian has been an excellent goaltender for the Senators so far this season. He has a .920 save percentage through his first four games and has made over 30 saves in a game on two occasions.

The other half of the Senators goaltending tandem, Derek has won three of his first four games this season and is riding a two-game win streak. He has great instincts and vision on the ice that helps him succeed.

Jimmy Rorro, North Jersey Skyland Kings Navy
Jimmy has strong angles and a competitive edge. He has great rebound control and battles for all pucks while keeping his team in the game.

Joseph Giarratano, Long Island Rebels
Joseph has been lights out so far this season, turning aside 43 of the 45 shots he has faced. He recorded a 19 save shutout in his first start of the season and has shown he has a great on-ice vision to help his team win.

Keegan Ford, Igloo Jaguars Green
Keegan has great reaction time and has helped keep his team in every game. He has turned aside over 25 shots in every start he has this season.
