The Atlantic Hockey Federation is thrilled to announce that Cherry Creek Defensemen Logan Flay has signed a tender with the EHL Boston Junior Rangers for the upcoming 2023-2024 season. Flay’s exceptional talent and dedication to the sport have earned him this opportunity to further develop his skills and compete at the highest level of junior hockey.
The Boston Jr. Rangers, located in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, have been a prominent organization since their establishment in 2008. While the Rangers aim to contend for championships across all levels each year, their primary focus lies in the development of their players to help them reach their full potential.
Originally known as the Boston Red Rangers, the organization expanded to include a junior program in 2012. The Junior “A” team made its debut in the Atlantic Junior Hockey League during the 2012-2013 season and later transitioned to the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) in the fall of 2013. The EHL team has demonstrated remarkable success, qualifying for the playoffs in each of its three seasons of competition. Notably, 35 former players from the EHL team have gone on to compete at the collegiate level, highlighting the program’s commitment to player development.
Logan Flay, a standout Defenseman from Cherry Creek High and the AHF organization Cherry Creek Bruins, has proven to be a force on the ice throughout his career. His impressive skills, combined with his dedication and work ethic, have caught the attention of the EHL Boston Jr. Rangers.
Flay’s tenure with Cherry Creek High and the Cherry Creek Bruins has been marked by outstanding achievements. Last season, Flay had the opportunity to showcase his skills as a guest player with the AHF, where he made a significant impact. He also excelled for Cherry Creek High, contributing four points on the ice.
The EHL is widely regarded as one of the premier junior hockey leagues in the United States, serving as a stepping stone for players aspiring to play at the collegiate level and beyond. With his exceptional abilities and dedication, Flay is well-positioned to make a significant impact within the league.

The showcases will take place in various cities across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland, offering a diverse range of venues for teams to compete in. These showcases are not only an excellent opportunity for teams to showcase their talent and skills, but also a chance to foster camaraderie and sportsmanship among the participating teams.
The first showcase is just around the corner, and we are excited to announce that the hotel links for this event are now available on our website. Participating teams and their supporters can access the hotel links and make their reservations at their earliest convenience. We recommend booking early to secure your preferred accommodations. A few locations’ hotel links will be made available next week.
For the second showcase, the hotel links will be made available next week and we anticipate hotel links for the third showcase will be accessible at the beginning of July. We appreciate your patience as we finalize the arrangements and ensure that all necessary information is provided for a successful event.

AJ Moleski of the Atlantic Hockey Federation committed to Penn State Harrisburg for the 2023-2024 season. The D2 Nittany Lions are a member of the Delaware Valley Collegiate Hockey Conference and are located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. AJ will join his fellow AHF players Nemec and Ellmore on the Harrisburg team.
This defenseman from Havertown, PA began his hockey journey with the Delco Phantoms, where he played from Squirts to Bantam AA. He later joined the Haverford Hawks 16U AA and 18U AA teams, further honing his abilities on the ice. Throughout his high school career at Haverford High, Moleski played an integral role as a varsity athlete for four consecutive years in their ice hockey program. Notably, this season Moleski accumulated four goals and eight assists as a top defenseman with the Hawks.
“AJ was a terrific player to coach. His ability to play any position and elevate his game during key moments proved to be invaluable to the team. His commitment to team and personal goals will pave the way for a successful future ahead,” said 18U Haverford Hawks Coach Gaetan Juliano.

Zachary Taylor of the Atlantic Hockey Federation committed to Marist College for the 2023-2024 season. Located in Poughkeepsie, NY, the D2 Red Foxes are a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association and Super East Collegiate Hockey League .
This forward from Wayne, NJ honed his skills over seven years with the New Jersey Bandits, leaving a lasting mark by scoring 30 goals and contributing 15 assists in the most recent season alone. Additionally, he showcased his abilities as a key player for the Paramus Catholic High Paladins during his three-year tenure there. Notably, Taylor’s exceptional performance on the ice earned him the well-deserved recognition as an AHF All Star in the previous season.
“Zachary is a great young man both on and off the ice who has a bright future ahead of him. He truly leads by example through his dedication, work ethic and no quit attitude. Simply put, he makes his teammates better! Having coached Zachary on and off since he was a mite and being able to coach him his last season at 18U couldn’t have worked out better!” said 18U Bandits Coach Mike Sevret.

Brady Baehser, a highly skilled forward hailing from Langhorne, PA, has been tendered by the NCDC WBS Knights junior hockey team for the upcoming 2023-2024 season. Baehser’s impressive record includes a five-year stint with the Philadelphia Blazers from 2018-2023, during which he served as Varsity Captain at Holy Ghost Prep High School.
During his time with the Blazers, Baehser proved to be a formidable force, netting an impressive 42 goals and 30 assists this season alone. His outstanding performance on the ice earned him a spot in the prestigious 2022 AHF All Star games.
“Brady is an exceptional athlete, one of the hardest working players I have seen,” praised 18U Blazers Coach Jon Barger. “He committed himself to being a great player every day through his constant training both on and off the ice. He was a leader both on and off the ice for a team that advanced to 4 straight Nationals. A great teammate who pushed all his fellow players to perform at their best, Brady was committed to his teammates and loyal to the Blazers organization. He played nine out of ten years for the Blazers, captaining one of the best teams in their age group for all those years. Brady is destined to do great things wherever he plays!”

The Atlantic Hockey Federation is thrilled to announce the Championship dates for the highly anticipated 2024 season. With a strong commitment to fostering competitive balance and providing equal opportunities for teams across all age groups and divisions, the AHF is gearing up for an exhilarating playoff season that promises to deliver excitement and memorable moments on the ice.
The AHF’s primary objective is to create a level playing field for all teams, ensuring that every participant has a fair chance to compete for a championship. With this vision in mind, the AHF will host playoffs for all age groups and divisions, except for the half ice mites, at the conclusion of the regular season.
Mark your calendars, as the following dates have been confirmed for the AHF 2024 championships:
February 17-19, 2024: All AA divisions (excluding 11U and 12U), 16U A, and 18U A
February 23-24, 2024: 10U A/B, 12U A/B, and 14U A/B
March 1-3, 2024: 11U AA and 12U AA
The Atlantic Hockey Federation is thrilled to announce that the Northern Cyclones Academy will be joining the league for the 2023-24 season. The Cyclones Academy, based at the Cyclones Arena in Hudson, New Hampshire, brings a rich tradition of player development and success to the AHF.
Led by featured coaches Tim Plummer and Greg Lenti, the Northern Cyclones Academy is poised to make a significant impact in the AHF. Tim Plummer, a native of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the organization. With his extensive playing career and successful start to his coaching career, Plummer will serve as the Director of Player Personnel for the Cyclones, while also coaching the U18 Elite Cyclones Academy teams. Plummer’s passion for the game and his dedication to player development will undoubtedly propel the Cyclones Academy forward.
Greg Lenti, a native of Kew Gardens, New York, joined the Northern Cyclones program in 2020 and will serve as the head coach of the 16U Elite Cyclones Academy team. With a strong background in playing and coaching, Lenti’s experience will contribute to the growth and success of the Cyclones Academy. Having played youth hockey for the New York Stars and prep hockey at St. Mark’s School, Lenti understands the importance of a solid foundation in player development.
The Northern Cyclones Academy has established itself as a premier player development program, with over 400 players placed in college hockey. Their commitment to excellence is evident through their success in placing players at the next level. Additionally, the Cyclones Academy boasts junior teams in the USPHL NCDC Premier and Elite, providing players with opportunities to further their hockey careers.
The AHF is looking forward to having the Northern Cyclones Academy as a new member of the league in the upcoming season. The Academy’s dedication to player development and their strong coaching staff make them a valuable addition to the AHF. The Allegheny Badgers are joining Atlantic Hockey Federation for the 2023-24 season. The organization is bringing three teams to the league: 18U AA, 2008s AA, and a 2009s AA team. The Badgers play out of Palmer Imaging Arena in Delmont, PA. The 18U team will be coached by Josh Fajt, while the 08s team will be led by Brett Martz and the 09s team by Justin Brown.
The Allegheny Hockey organization has a rich history dating back to 1992. The association was named in honor of “Badger Bob” Johnson, a coach who was a leader throughout USA amateur and major league hockey. Johnson’s core values and philosophies have become the basis for USA amateur hockey across the country, and the Allegheny Hockey organization has stayed true to those values over the years.
The organization is committed to providing programs for as many boys and girls as possible who wish to participate in youth hockey. They offer instructional, recreational, and competitive programs for different skill levels and ages from 4 through 20. The Allegheny Hockey organization has an excellent group of dedicated coaches and volunteers who provide an unmatched level of commitment both on-ice and off-ice to the members of Allegheny Hockey and to the sport of youth ice hockey.
The Allegheny Hockey organization has produced many talented players over the years, and two key alumni are Austen Swankler and Dominic Schimizzi. Swankler is a Bowling Green State University player who was named the 2022-23 first team All-CCHA, nominated for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award, and awarded the HCA National Player of the Month in December 2022. He was also a two-time CCHA Forward of the Month and a two-time CCHA Forward of the Week. Schimizzi played for three different NAHL teams before committing to the D1 Robert Morris University.

The Atlantic Hockey Federation is proud to present the MLK Chicago Showcase, taking place from January 12-15, 2024, in the vibrant city of Chicago, IL. This is an optional showcase for 14U AA, 15U AA, 16U AA, and 18U AA age levels, and will be held at Center Ice and Seven Bridges Arenas.
The AHF Chicago Showcase is part of the recent expansion of the AHF with the creation of the National Conference. The AHF Chicago Showcase assists in creating a neutral site that is easier on travel for the National Conference Members.

The South Pittsburgh Rebellion is set to join the Atlantic Hockey Federation for the 2023-24 season. This showcase team, based out of Printscape Arena in Canonsburg, PA, is part of the South Pittsburgh Hockey Club, formerly known as the Southpointe Amateur Hockey Association.
The club was chartered with the goal of organizing and conducting ice hockey teams for all ages, with a primary mission of educating, promoting, and furthering the development of players. Under the guidance of USA Hockey, the club is committed to conducting seasons with an emphasis on learning the fundamentals of ice hockey, enjoying friendly competition, practicing good sportsmanship, and developing the concept of teamwork and esprit de corps.
The South Pittsburgh Hockey Club places emphasis on fun, ensuring that players enjoy a safe and positive ice hockey experience. The coaches, officials, and volunteers all work together to create an environment that fosters growth, both on and off the ice.
Some of the featured coaches of the South Pittsburgh Rebellion include Clay Shell, a USA Hockey Level 5 Master Coach. The SPGH 2009 Birth Year Team coaching staff this season, with all coaches having years of experience and numerous awards and championships in PAHL and PIHL hockey.
