The AHF announces the Players of the Week for the week ending January 22nd, 2023. The Players of the Week is a weekly feature during the 2022-23 season that honors players in all divisions. Only players that are nominated by their respective teams are considered.
Age Level / Division: 10A
Team: Royals White
Player: Carter Herring (F) – Games: 2, Goals: 2, Assists: 0
“Carter had two timely goals this weekend to try and push his team in the right direction. On Saturday he scored with 32 seconds remaining in the first period that was controlled by the Blazers. Although the team lost, he provided the spark to wake his team up and even out the chances. On Sunday morning, Carter scored 32 seconds into the game to show his team that Saturday’s loss was behind them. He has been a dynamic player all season and brought an intensity to his game this weekend that motivated the rest of the bench.” said Coach Shawn McMullen.
