FORWARDS

TJ Brower, Brick Hockey Club
As a leader on and off the ice, Brower is able to see the ice very well from the center position. Strong in the faceoff dot, Brower make sures to keep his own defensive end clean, while also make sure all his shots on goal count.

Spencer Applebaum, Jersey Shore Wildcats White
Strong on the puck, Applebaum makes it hard for defenders to knock him off it. With a high compete level, Applebaum can use his speed and heavy shot to create plenty of off ense for Jersey Shore.

Connor Blewett, Philadelphia Blazers
An energy player, Blewett competes every shift with a workman like mentality. A gritty player, Blewett brings plenty of heart to the Blazers’ roster.

Thomas Carbone, Jersey Shore Wildcats White
A solid skater, Carbone compliments his skating with strong stickhandling and a decent shot. Strength on the puck makes it hard for Carbone to get knocked off possession.

Michael Nelson, North Jersey Aspen Kings
Recognized as a top team player, Nelson is no stranger to mucking it up in the corners to get the puck out for the Aspen Kings. Nelson is also unselfish, often tallying more assists than goals by the end of the season.

Maciej Blon, Philadelphia Blazers
With a strong shot and solid hands, Blon serves as a playmaker for the Blazers. Keen off ensive awareness helps Blon be a solid contributor for this squad.

Connor Simonson, Brick Hockey Club
With a nose for the puck, Simonson is wherever a coach needs him to be. A well-balanced player with size, speed, and strength; Simonson creates havoc for opponents through all 200-feet of the rink.

Jude Large, Philadelphia Blazers
Large possesses solid speed through the rink, while also contributing a little grit. A heads-up passer, Large’s vision of the ice allows him to kick-start the off ense.

Brady Acropolis, Brick Hockey Club
With solid vision of the ice, Acropolis is able to know when to distribute the puck and when to take it himself. One of the bigger offensive threats for Brick, Acropolis makes defenders think before they overcommit to the pass or the shot.

Peter Psaras, North Jersey Aspen Kings
Even with cracking jokes in the locker room, Psaras’ goal scoring ability is no laughing matter. With a natural scoring touch and solid stick-handling ability, Psaras shows his a performer both on and off the ice.

Brandon Clayton, Jersey Shore Wildcats Black
Clayton uses his speed and elusiveness to get past the opposing defense. The respect he gets with his speed allows more time for plays to open up for his teammates.

Shiva Kuttikat, North Jersey Aspen Kings
As a multi-positional player, Kuttikat has displayed a solid two-way game as a forward. A blue collar attitude shows that Kuttikat can be called upon in any situation on the ice.

DEFENSE

Matthew Fritz, Philadelphia Blazers
Size and physicality is the calling card for Fritz’s play. If muscle in his own end isn’t enough, Fritz’s hard, heavy shot from the point helps the depth of the Blazers off ense.

Niko Stulic, Jersey Shore Wildcats White
With great vision in his end, Stulic is able to start the offensive side of the game for the Wildcats. With superb skating ability, he is able to read the game well and make adjustments on the fly.

Kyle Rabkin, Jersey Shore Wildcats Black
Rabkin is a steady two-way defenseman who knows when to jump up in the play and when to respect the opponent and play sound defense. Strong on both sides of the puck, Rabkin helps anchor the Wildcats defensive corps.

Kyle Smith, Philadelphia Blazers
A sneaky, heavy snap shot allows Smith to jump up in the play from the blue line. Coupled with his smooth skating, Smith can get it done at both ends of the rink.

Max Larson, Brick Hockey Club
Having led his prior teams in many offensive categories in years past, Larson’s smooth skating and ability to read places on both sides of the ice. Able to retrieve pucks in his own end, Larson is quick to transition to play for offensive chances for Brick.

Giovanni Tritto, Jersey Shore Wildcats Black
With solid playmaking ability, Tritto helps start the offense for the WIldcats Black squad. With a solid vision on the ice, he’s able to jump up on offensive, while having the sense enough to get back on the defensive end of things.

GOALIE

Gianna Raggio, Philadelphia Blazers
Raggio brings top notch awareness in the crease for the Blazers. While Raggio is positionally sound, she can also use quick reactions to stymy the opposition.

Thomas McGrath and DJ Swierk, Brick Hockey Club
A dual threat in net, McGrath and Swierk are both able to steal games whenever called upon. The duo are able to play off each other very well, able pick one another up when needed, and prove to be a big strength to the Brick lineup.

Jayden Ellis, Jersey Shore Wildcats Black
Ellis is a cornerstone on this Wildcats squad, making sure that they’re able to stay in games with his stops in the crease. With support from his defense, Ellis is able to see shots clearly, allowing him to position properly.

Adam Yacuk and Merrick Ferierra, North Jersey Aspen Kings
Another strong duo of goalie in this division, as Yacuk and Ferierra prove to be a big backbone of the Aspen Kings side. Unselfish with their game, both display the dedication to each other to help the success of the team.

Forwards:

Kyle Butchyk – Jersey Shore Wildcats Black

– A forward that is a critical cog in the Jersey Shore offensive machine. Kyle’s great hands and quick skating accompanies a fantastic shot to contribute on the ice.

Chris Kay – North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue

– If he gets room to unleash a shot, look out. With one of the hardest shots you will see in the showcase, Kay is a driving force of the North Jersey offense and power play. Through four games, Kay is among showcase leaders in points with eight (3 G, 4 A).

Steven Keane – North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue

– Keane is not only a wise player, but a skilled one, as well. With an excellent ability to read defenses, Kean has already potted four goals and added an assist in five games.

Defense:

Jack Battistelli – Jersey Shore Wildcats Black

– A solid two-way defenseman, Jack handles the puck with ease and skates well, too. Jack’s back-check stiffles opponents while he can also move the puck to establish offensive attacks.

Rich Williams – Jersey Shore Wildcats Black

– Rich is an offensive-minded defenseman with the skillset to supplement his role on the ice. He has great vision when moving the puck and an accurate shot.

Goalies:

Phil Togno – North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue

– A very skilled netminder, Togno has a perfect combination of reflexes, puck tracking, and precise movement. With a knack for always being in the right place at the right time, few pucks elude Togno.

Forwards:

Kyle Butchyk – Jersey Shore Wildcats Black

Defense:

– A solid two-way defenseman, Jack handles the puck with ease and skates well, too. Jack’s back-check stifles opponents while he can also move the puck to establish offensive attacks.

Rich Williams – Jersey Shore Wildcats Black

– Rich is an offensive-minded defenseman with the skillset to supplement his role on the ice. He has great vision when moving the puck and an accurate shot.

Goalies:

Phil Togno – North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue

Forwards:

Jake Calanni – New Jersey Aspen Kings Blue

– Calanni uses his speed to turn breakouts into breakaways, generating scoring opportunities on his own. However, he is a pure two-way player, as he back checks with aggression while also battling in front of the net in the attacking zone. Through three games so far, Calanni has a goal and an assist.

Ian D’Ambrosio – Haverford Hawks

– A sniper from the center position, D’Ambrosio can turn the puck into a rocket with a flick of his wrist. He also has a hard-working nature and slick skating ability to supplement his scoring.

Dylan Kouba – Haverford Hawks

– A determined, hard-working winger, Kouba is the type of player that sparks energy on the bench by simply stepping on the ice. He also has great speed and puck control to establish scoring chances.

JL O’Toole – New Jersey Aspen Kings Blue

– O’Toole can skate with speed and aggression, using it to attack the puck on offense or defense. Paired with a strong set of hands, JL has a full “toole” box.

Colin Rink – Haverford Hawks

– With a top-tier hockey name, Rink has the skills to do the name on the back of his jersey proud. With good speed and vision, along with a strong sense of where to be in front of the net, Rink causes headaches for many defenders.

Aaron Shulman – North Jersey Skyland Kings Navy

– Shulman utilizes his quick, strong hands all over the ice, from winning face-offs to dangling around defenders. Paired with great knowledge of the game, Shulman has the potential to be a top-tier talent.

Fredrick Sitner – Rockets Hockey Club

– Using his elite speed to create open space, Sitner can use his top-level skill to generate opportunities for himself and for his teammates. He has a very well-rounded offensive game, including great shooting and passing abilities.

Defense:

Johans Bars – North Jersey Skyland Kings Navy

– Able to knock the puck away from attackers, Bars uses his body to win the puck away from opponents using his large frame. He also puts that frame into a strong shot from long range.

Nathan Cucinatta – Haverford Hawks

– With good speed for his size and physical play, Cucinatta stands out on the blue line. Using his speed, he is able to convert defense to offense.

Joel Saxon – New Jersey Aspen Kings Blue

– A player with a very high hockey IQ, Saxon is able to adapt to wherever the play goes, especially in the offensive zone. He is able to clear room in front of the net and he has a thundering shot when positioned at the blue line. He has a goal through three games.

Constantine Sidorov – Rockets Hockey Club

– A player that always moves the puck with care and intent, despite his physical style of play, Sidorov has the can both move defenders off the puck and help advance attacks with insightful passes.

Blake Stevens – New Jersey Aspen Kings Blue

– A two-way defenseman, Stevens is able to use his outstanding speed to generate offensive opportunities from his own zone. He has a knack for finding the tape of open teammates elsewhere on the ice.

Goalies:

Zach Carter – Hollydell Hurricanes Red

– One cannot ask for a better start to the season than what Carter provided the Hurricanes, as just recorded a 36-save shutout to kick-off the season along with some solid games early on. Look for him to rely on his athleticism to continue his hot streak.

Chrisitan Mackey – Haverford Hawks

– Mackey uses his height to his advantage, using his entire body and athleticism to stop pucks from all angles. Mackey’s positioning and rebound control are also evaluated among the best in the 16U AA group.

Connor Thomas – New Jersey Aspen Kings

– Thomas has stellar puck tracking and precise net movement. Along with good size and a quick glove, Thomas provides firm support for the Kings in net. In two games so far, Thomas owns an .890 SV%.

FORWARDS

Brody Acropolis, Brick Hockey Club
Leading the team in all offensive categories, Acropolis netted two hat tricks during the showcase. His 11 points was tied for first among all U14A players in the showcase.

Spencer Applebaum, Jersey Shore Wildcats White
With nine goals and 11 points in three games, Applebaum put the Wildcats on his shoulders in the showcase. The drive in Applebaum was noticeable with his strong skating and relentless play all throughout the weekend.

Connor Blewett, Philadelphia Blazers
Despite not being the biggest player on the ice, Blewett showed up in a big way being a pest and not giving up an inch for the puck all weekend. Blewett’s heart and soul effort showed the fight that was in the Blazers team in the showcase.

Ben Skutnik, North Jersey Aspen Kings Grey
The kid known as “Spuds” led the team in points with seven, four of them being goals. The center was playing with plenty of jump in his play and knew this was a place for him to step up his game to another level.

Connor Martin, Haverford Hawks White
With six goals in four games, Martin helped the Hawks offensively by also leading the team in points with nine. Despite being short handed at center, Martin compete and energy shone through and kept the Hawks going all weekend.

Brandon Clayton, Jersey Shore Wildcats Black
Leading the way with six goals and eight points, Clayton’s skill was on full display this weekend. With his magician-like puck handling, Clayton chipped in on one-third of his team’s scoring.

Braeden McClure, York Devils
With a two-goal game to open up the showcase, McClure helped the Devils’ offensive production. Not only that, but McClure was a big part of the marathon shootout by netting four goals on his attempts.

Kaden Longo, Team Philadelphia

A new addition to Team Philadelphia who is proving to be a strong offensive threat. Put up 5 points in the opening weekend, contributing points in three of four games. Also brings a balanced approach and demonstrates his ability to play on both ends of the ice.

Brendan Cardarelli, Team Philadelphia

A versatile player who made the transition from defense to offense in the second game of the weekend as Team Philadelphia made some early season adjustments. During his first game on offense, Brendan put up an impressive two goals and three assists.

DEFENSE

Luke Rudo, Brick Hockey Club
Not a part of the pre-tournament players to watch, Rudo made a case to be on that list from here on out. Rudo led the BHC defense in scoring with two goals and four points on the weekend, as well as helping his team secure two shutouts for their goalie.

Brandon Truax, Haverford Hawks White
A dual threat on the back-end and playing a little forward, Truax added plenty of physical presence to the Haverford game. The physical play of Truax gave the Hawks that extra spark when they needed it.

Charlie Wagenbach, North Jersey Aspen Kings Grey
Having to play every other shift definitely got Wagenbach noticed this weekend. The left-handed defenseman battled throughout the weekend and was able to tally an assist in the opening game of the weekend.

Leah Yedwab, Igloo Jaguars
Making sure to stand her ground, Yedwab was a presence in front of the Jaguars’ net and didn’t back down from a battle. With a solid hockey IQ and quick feet, Yedwab has a breakout performance for herself this weekend.

GOALIE

Drew Diech, Igloo Jaguars
With a flair for the dramatic, Diech got his first win with the Jaguars in a 13-round shootout against York. To add onto that, in his next game, Diech put up a shutout to mark his save percentage at .935 for the showcase.

Merrick Ferreira, North Jersey Aspen Kings Grey
Only allowing two goals on the weekend Ferreira was more than solid between the pipes. Stopping 50 out of 52 shots, Ferreira came away from the weekend with a .962 save percentage.

Bruno Mainardi, Haverford Hawks White
With timely saves and great communication with his defense, Mainardi kept the Hawks confidence high with him between the pipes. His communication helped stymie the forecheck, while also allowing a good first past out of the zone.

Zidane Brena, Team Philadelphia

Came out strong in his opening appearance of the year, making several dynamic saves which enabled his team to gain some momentum in their first game of the season. Also stood strong during a very tight game that eventually went to overtime. Zidane will be half of the very strong goaltending duo that Team Philadelphia has this year.

Forwards:

Zac Bulson – MYHA Gold

– Using his ability to read the development of play, Bulson intercepted several passes and turned them into breakaways with his great speed on the puck. This allowed him to pot a team-high five goals, including a hat trick. He also displayed a highly accurate shot by going bar down with ease. A pure offensive talent, defenses must stay alert when he is on the ice, even when they’re on the puck.

Chris Delmonte – North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue

– A two-way forward that utilizes a physical game over all 200 feet of the rink, Delmonte contributed in ways that did and didn’t show up on the score sheet. In terms of scoring, he had three goals on the ledger. What didn’t show up on the sheet was his willingness to get involved in the play, no matter where it was, and his gritty skating style. He was, and will continue to be, critical to the Aspen Kings gameplan.

Ben Russell – MYHA Gold

– Using his big frame in front of the net, Russell successfully cleared room for MYHA to score. In the showcase opener, he netted two goals in the second period by creating space for himself before unleashing a textbook one-timer. He also showed off strong hand-eye coordination, tipping home a deflection goal. The MYHA power forward finished the showcase with three goals and two assists, a very strong showing for him.

Jonah Smith – Royals Hockey Club

– Among the team point leaders with a goal and an assist, Smith was heavily involved with a lot of offensive scoring chances for the Royals. He displayed a high hockey IQ on his goal, teaming up well with his linemate in order to create a quality scoring chance. Should he be able to maintain this chemistry with his linemates, Jonah will be sure to pop in more goals this season.

Defense:

Chase Unice – North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue

– Unice normally fulfills the role of a stay-at-home defenseman, and that was what he did for a majority of the showcase. He used his large build to snuff out a wide array of attacks. However, he also flashed a rare showcase of offensive talent, as well. He stick handled around a defender and impressively slid a shot by the goalie on their short side. That was hopefully a glimpse into the future and Chase can incorporate more offense like that into his game.

Goalies:

Frederick Horowitz – MYHA Gold

– Backstopping his team to two wins, Horowitz only conceded four goals on 65 shots against him. His .930 save percentage was tied for third among 18U A netminders that played a minimum of 50 minutes. His athletic ability permitted him to stop such a high volume of shots, and will continue to bring him great success down the road.

Utility:

Michael Bonnani – Royals Hockey Club

– Serving time as both the main line and last line of defense in the showcase, Bonnani hit the ice as a defenseman and a goalie. He saw great success as a shut-down defenseman, blocking nearly 50 shots and shutting down up-ice rushes. For the team’s game on Saturday, he was asked to fill in as a netminder and did so admirably, making 43 saves while borrowing equipment from the rink and using a skater’s stick. His versatility and team-first mindset makes him a highly valuable asset for the Royals.

FORWARDS:

Tristan MacCormick, Ashburn Xtreme

Tristan led all U13 AA skaters in goals (6), assists (6), and points (12). He used his elite offensive instincts to great scoring chances for his team.

Patryk Oszer, Grundy Senators

Patryk tied for second in total scoring amongst U13 AA skaters with seven points on the weekend. He was smart with the puck and made the right plays when needed.

Max Godshall, Team Philadelphia

Max was a goal-a-game player this past weekend, scoring four times in as many games. He also showed off his passing ability as well, totaling three assists.

Ethan Hong, Ashburn Xtreme

Ethan finished with the second most goals amongst U13 AA skaters with five. He used his offensive skills to get to where he needed to be to score.

Peyton Murphy, North Jersey Avalanche

Peyton lead his team in scoring with four goals and five points in just three games. His two goals and assist against the Rockets Hockey Club helped power the Aves to a 6-1 win.

DEFENSE:

Christopher Marshall, Grundy Senators

Not only can Christopher play defense, but he can also put up offensive numbers too! His five points in three games this past weekend were the most amongst defensemen in the U13 AA division.

Lucas Gonzalez, Grundy Senators

Lucas put up a point-per-game in his three contests this weekend, displaying his talents at both ends of the ice.

Aiden Chun, North Jersey Avalanche

Aden’s two goals were the second most goals scored amongst defensemen for the U13 AA division. He played well at both ends of the ice and showcased his athleticism.

Ronan Ivins, Tomorrow’s Ice Selects

Ronan played strong for Tomorrow’s Ice Selects this past weekend. He recorded two points in four games and displayed skill and awareness on both ends of the ice.

Mathew Hemenway, North Jersey Aspen Kings

Mathew was an anchor on defense for the Kings this past weekend. He played strong in the defensive zone and got an assist in a 6-1 win over Tomorrow’s Ice Selects.

GOALIES:

Declan Geary, Team Philadelphia

Declan faced the most shots (71) of any goalie who played multiple games in U13 AA. Despite the large workload, Declan found a way to make 67 saves and go 2-0 on the weekend with a shutout.

Carson Ramsey, Ashburn Xtreme

Carson went 2-0 on the weekend and only allowed one goal on 32 shots. His save percentage (.970) and goals-against average (0.50) were the best amongst U13 AA goalies who played multiple games.

Ryan Felenstien, North Jersey Avalanche

Ryan was strong in between the pipes for the Aves this weekend, recording a shutout win and a .910 save percentage.

Ian Seitz, Atlantic City Sharks

Ian displayed excellent skills and athleticism this past weekend for the Sharks. He was a crucial part of the Sharks’ 3-2 win over Team Philadelphia, making 21 saves.

Lucas Egan, New Jersey Bandits,

Lucas showed poise and skill for the Bandits this past weekend. He made 18 saves against the North Jersey Aspen Kings Black in a 5-3 Bandits win.

York Devils vs. North Jersey Avalanche

The York Devils enter this weekend’s showcase with an 8-1-1 record and are tied for first in U18 A with the North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue. One of the two losses for York? A 3-2 shootout loss to the Avalanche back in August. They are the highest-scoring team in the league with 49 total goals scored and have the best goal differential with a +28 margin. They have four players with over a point-per-game average and are led by Anthony Woodard’s eight goals and 15 points (both lead the team). The North Jersey Avalanche is the second highest-scoring team with 45 total goals. The Aves are third in 18U A with a 6-2-1 record and are led by U18 A’s leading goal (11) and point scorer (16) Camilo Ramirez. The game will take place Saturday, September 25th at 2:50 PM ET.

North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue vs. Maryland Jr. Black Bears

This match-up boasts two top-five teams in the U18 A division. The Aspen Kings are 8-1-1 and have allowed the lowest amount of goals against (18) amongst teams that have played more than five games. Ryan Solotist leads the way offensively for the Kings, recording 13 points in ten games. This total is good enough for the fifth-highest in 18U A. The Maryland Jr. Black Bears are fifth in U18 A with a record of 5-3-0. Offensively they are led by Edmond O’Connell with nine goals and eleven points while being held down in between the pipes by Alexander Nalepa and his .930 save percentage. The last time these two teams met the Kings defeated the Black Bears 3-0. This match-up will take place on Sunday, September 26th at 9:30 AM ET.

MYHA Gold vs. New Jersey Bandits

MYHA Gold head into the showcase undefeated with a record of 5-0-0 while scoring 32 goals in those games. They have two undefeated goalies in Julien Piche and Federick Horowitz who both have a save percentage higher than .920 and three players with over a point per game average. The New Jersey Bandits are 4-3-0, scoring 28 goals in those games. Mathew Healey’s eight assists are good enough for being tied for third in 18U A in that category. MYHA won the prior game in August by a score of 7-2. This game will take place on Saturday, September 25th at 11:20 AM ET.

FORWARDS

Nathan Ciccarelli, North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue
The two-way forward has shown a lot of grit in his game this season. Not afraid to mix it up in the corners, Ciccarelli has been a source of energy for North Jersey, putting up three points in seven divisional games.

Stephen Gresch, Hollydell Hurricanes Red
With 12 points in the teams first 11 games, Gresch is showing his leadership on the scoresheet; but behind the scenes, the respect of his teammates show his leadership off the rink. With plenty of hockey sense and solid hands, Gresch will be a threat for Hollydell this showcase.

Tucker Graham, Team Philadelphia
A proven goal scorer, Graham has seven goals in six AHF match-ups this season, tallying a hat trick in the August Showcase. With a keen nose for the net, Graham will be a big offensive player for Team Philadelphia this coming weekend.

Connor Hall, Montgomery Youth Hockey Blue
In his last two AHF match-ups, Hall has potted three goals and added four assists. Hall has climbed through the Montgomery AA ranks the past three years, but this one he has discovered a scoring touch to compliment his solid passing ability.

Nicholas Marino, New Jersey Bandits
With seven goals in five AHF contests, Marino has been a big bright spot for this Bandits team. Marino is in his second season at the U16 AA level and looks to have found his footing, surpassing his goal total from last year in 13 fewer games.

Landon Street, Ashburn Xtreme
After a strong season last year, Street is continuing that trend this year with nine points in four AHF games this season. Coming off a better than point-per-game season last year at the U16 AA level, Street’s skill and natural playmaking ability continues to mature as he does.

Caden Hall, York Devils
After a year off, Hall hasn’t missed a step with seven points in six AHF match-ups. Hall is able to evenly distribute the puck when needed and uses his hockey sense to know when he needs to shoot the puck.

DEFENSE

Tommy Ryerson, North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue
Ryerson has been crucial for the North Jersey offense by being able to hold the blue line and keep possession going for the team. He’s also not afraid of getting physical, using his big frame to his advantage against the opposition.

Hayden Shield, York Devils
With a good first touch, Shield is one of the main components starting up the York offense. With solid footwork and vision, Shield provides a solid option from the blue line, but he’s not afraid to throw the body around against the opponents to stake his claim in his own zone.

Colton Weiss, Igloo Jaguars Black
One of the top scoring defenseman, Weiss has five points in five AHF contests so far. Weiss has come into his own this year offensively, taking more chances with the puck, which as yield solid offensive returns for the Jaguars.

Johans Bars, North Jersey Skyland Kings Navy
A solid puck-moving blueliner, Bars has been a solid on the point for the Skyland Kings. With three goals so far this season, Bars shows that he’s not afraid to take a shot when he’s needed to. He won’t force a shot, however, knowing when to find the open man for a better opportunity.

GOALIE

Dante DeFruscio, Team Philadelphia
With two of his three games in the AHF being shutouts, it’s not hard to see why DeFruscio is one of the top goalies in the U16 AA. Aided by a solid team in front of him, DeFruscio is able to see plenty of pucks coming his way and knows he’ll get plenty of goal support.

John Castle, York Devils
Sporting a 1.50 GAA in six games in the AHF, Castle has helped York go undefeated in those contests. Castle has only let up two goals in his last three starts for York and has been a big part of their success this season.

Zach Carter and Bailen Smargiassi, Hollydell Hurricanes Red
Both Carter and Smargiassi are backbones for the Hurricanes this season. Both have faced an average of 35 shots a game and have made big saves to keep Hollydell in many of their match-ups this season.

FORWARDS:

Tyler Skolnick, Philadelphia Blazers

Tyler, for being one of the smaller kids on the team, plays with the most heart. He never is afraid to get hit or throw his weight around. His speed and handling ability result in numerous scoring opportunities for his team. He has three goals and four points so far this season.

Michael Gionco, North Jersey Aspen Kings Yellow

Michael is an excellent team player with a great sense for the game of hockey. He posses a wicked shot which has helped him tally four goals and six points through his team’s first nine games.

Griffin Hoch, MYHA Gold

Griffin is a fast, physical forward who can create space and opportunity for scoring opportunities for his team. He has a very accurate shot which has helped him score twice so far this season.

Camilo Ramirez, North Jersey Avalanche

Camilo has had an excellent start to the season, leading U18 A in goals (11) and points (16). Camilo has an excellent sense for the game and is a threat with the puck every time they’re in the offensive zone.

Sean Pedersen, North Jersey Aspen Kings Yellow

Sean is a hardworking forward that has excellent skating ability. He is a great back checker and makes an impact on both ends of the ice. Sean has recorded four points in his first six games.

Eric Scheleur, Maryland Jr. Black Bears

Eric is a player to watch out for due to his ability to find the back of the net during important times in the game, as well as his strong skating. He has six points in eight games so far this season.

DEFENSE:

Chris Kay, North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue

Chris has proven to be effective both defensively and offensively. He is the highest-scoring defenseman in U18 A, recording four goals and ten points. He has only gone pointless twice in his first eight games of the season, showing he is a consistent point scorer.

Lucas Guinan, Philadelphia Blazers

Lucas has an excellent sense for the game of hockey. He knows where every play is going to end up and uses his speed to get himself involved.

David Gruhn, MYHA Gold

David loves to use his size and physical ability to his advantage, getting physical to cause turnovers. He is a vocal leader on the ice and has two assists so far this season.

Tyler Kulbanskiy, North Jersey Avalanche

Tyler is productive on both ends of the ice. He is smart in his own zone and can produce offensively too, scoring two goals and eight points in his first nine games. Tyler has been heating up as of late, recording five points in his last three games.

Colin Barrett, MYHA Gold

Colin controls the puck in his own zone and outworks his opponents. He does a great job leading breakouts with a mix of good vision and passing while also always working hard to keep the puck in the zone.

GOALIES:

Vincenzo Palome, North Jersey Aspen Kings Yellow

Vincenzo has a great work ethic in net and gives it his all every game. He is dedicated to getting better every game and never gives up on the play.

Phillip Togno, North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue

Phillip has been dynamite for his team so far and is entering the showcase riding a three-game shutout streak. Those three shutouts he recorded are good enough to lead U18 A in shutouts. He has a goals-against-average of only 1.37 and has proven to be consistent and focused in between the pipes.

Taylor West, Team Philadelphia

Taylor has only started two games so far this season and has been spectacular in them, recording shutouts in both games. He is quick and consistent in between the pipes.

Colin McQuade, York Devils

Colin enters this weekend with a 6-2 record, winning his last three games. He has come up with 20 plus saves his past two wins as he continues to demonstrate why he is one of the top goalies in U18 A.

Alexander Napela, Maryland Jr. Black Bears

Alexander has proven his worth in between the pipes, turning aside at least 20 shots in every game he has played in. He uses his vision and athleticism to be consistent and help his team win. Alexander has won his last two starts.
