Ashburn Xtreme
The Xtreme is undefeated and has been dominant in doing so, starting off the season with three straight wins while scoring ten or more goals. Ashburn is 6-0-0 overall and have outscored its opponents 57 to 12, the largest goal differential in U10 A. Led by Gehrett Mussel and his 12 points, the offense has shown its true colors by boasting ten players averaging at least a point-per-game.
MYHA Blue
MYHA Blue enters the showcase with a 6-2-0 record and is the only other team besides the Xtreme to score a total of over 50 goals as a team with 52. It has a very deep offensive unit that has four players with ten or more points, including point leader Jonathan Holcomb with 14.
Jersey Shore Wildcats National
The Wildcats head into the weekend with a 5-1-0 record and have put up impressive numbers in doing so. Its nine goals against is the fewest goals allowed as a team amongst teams with six or more games played. Goaltender Marco Stulic has been a force in between the pipes, posting a .900 save percentage and a 1.5 goals-against average, good enough to be top five in each category amongst U10 A goalies.
Delaware Ducks
The Ducks are a team that not only can put the puck in the back of the net, but they also sport one of the league’s best defenses. Its 14 goals against are the second-lowest total amongst teams that have played six or more games. The offense is just as lethal as the defense, with six players averaging a point per game or more.
Team Philadelphia
Team Philadelphia has started the season by winning four of its first five games. It not only has gotten great performances by its goaltending and defense, but the offense has been deadly. The depth of Team Philadelphia’s scoring has been excellent with eight players with at least two goals on the year so far. Joey Kiss has led the way for his team so far with five goals and seven points.
Team Philadelphia: Team Philadelphia vaulted into the top ten of the U10 AA standings with a 4-0-0 performance at last weekend’s showcase. The team totaled 28 goals in those four games, scoring no less than five goals per game. Kyle Perucki led the offense with his six goals and eleven points while Gareth Meyer did his part in between the pipes, recording a shutout on the weekend.
St. James 1: St. James came to play this past weekend, winning three of its four games. Two of the teams wins came with Stanley Krulc in the net and saw him turn aside all 23 shots he saw to record two shutout wins. It was an all-around great team effort by St. James and a successful showcase.
North Jersey Avalanche Blue: The Avalanche used a strong offensive showing to secure three wins in four games at the most recent Atlantic Hockey Federation Showcase. The team scored 22 goals in four games and scored five or more goals in the three wins. Christian Leakes had a big hand in the offense, scoring three goals and five points in the four games.
MYHA Gold: After dropping the first two games of this past weekend’s showcase, MYHA Gold exploded to win its final two games by the combined score of 15-4. Many players on the team stepped up for the bounce-back performance including Andrew Fauver has his five points in the two wins.
York Devils: The York Devils stayed red hot this past weekend, winning all four of its showcase games. The four wins allowed the Devils to stay in the top five teams in the U10 AA standings. Led by Josh Warren and his six goals, the team got scoring from up and down the roster and great defensive play as well.
FORWARDS:

Declan Kiley, Royals Hockey Club National
Declan came to play this weekend, scoring seven goals in three games. He has a dangerous mixture of skill and grit that made him a problem to face in each game. Declan also shined in the faceoff circle, winning a lot of draws for his team.

Gunnar Schwanke, Tomorrow’s North Stars Red
A stellar combination of skills, speed, and hustle, Gunnar had a weekend of dangles and dishes. He put up six goals and three assists this past weekend while also showing a willingness to play defense too. He was constantly seen hustling on the backcheck to break up plays and showing why he is an effective two-way player.

Jack Grossfield, Montgomery Blue Devils LA Blue
Jack had his offensive skills on display this past weekend, scoring several highlight-reel goals. He used his speed and energy to produce five points in four games and fought through any defender that got in his way.

London Smolenski, Team Philadelphia
London came to play this past weekend, scoring four goals in as many games. He is a hard-working forward who not only produces offensively but defensively as well. In a game against MYHA Blue, London made an excellent stick lift play that ended up going the other way for a Team Philadelphia goal. He received player of the game honors because of it.

Kendall Dossouvi, MYHA Gold
If you want a player who knows how to use his offensive skill to benefit the team, look no further. Kendall has a unique blend of skills that helped him net three hat tricks and 16 points in four games for MYHA Gold. He was an integral part of his team’s two wins, recording 14 points in those two victories.

Jakub Sokolak, MYHA Gold
Jakub showed tremendous hustle on the forecheck and backcheck, getting to where he needed to be, as well as scoring 2 goals. His excellent positional play was a big reason for his team’s success this past weekend.

Lily Majors, Brick Hockey Club Green
Lily has a hand in every play and is a scoring threat to boot. She drives plays very well and is committed to the success of her team in all three zones. Her coaches have been very impressed with her development and can’t believe she isn’t playing at a higher level.

Mason Sambuco, Team Philadelphia
Mason is a hardworking defenseman with a great hockey sense. He always gives 110% on the ice and makes an impact defensively with well-executed plays.

Colton Livingston, Tomorrow’s Ice North Stars Red
A force to get around, Colton is a shutdown D that spent the weekend breaking up plays and rushes in every game. He then has no problem setting up his teammates for success. Putting up two goals and three assists from the point over the weekend, he hustles every shift and does it all with a big smile.

Ramsey Helman, Montgomery Blue Devils LA Blue
Ramsey displayed both offensive and defensive skills this past weekend. On defense, he was gritty and very tough to play against in his own zone. Offensively he displayed great stick handling, passing, and scoring ability. Ramsey totaled three goals on the weekend.

Luca Keller, Montgomery Blue Devils LA Blue
Luca played tough defense which made it very difficult for his opponents to get around him. He moved the puck around with ease and hustled on every play, even finding the back of the net this weekend.

Brady Marksamer, Tomorrow’s Ice North Stars Red
His combined size and mobility have put Brady at the top of the league with a 1.20 GAA, with four straight games only giving up a single goal. He also has two shutouts on the year and has looked impressive in every game he has played in.

Emile Ruhleman, MYHA Gold
Emile had a 35 save game this weekend against Brick Hockey Club Green, giving up only three goals and boasting a .921 save percentage. This excellent effort lead his team to a win after a very tight first and second period.

Anthony Palemo, Montgomery Blue Devils LA Blue
Anthony put his skills on display this past weekend, making big saves and showing how much of a team player he is. He showed great awareness on the ice and used great vision and athleticism to keep the puck out of the net.

Lucas Johnson, Hollydell Hurricanes Red
Lucas showed why he is a top goalie at the U10 A level this past weekend, recording an impressive 39 save victory in a close 4-3 win over the Jersey Shore Wildcats National. Despite facing 10 or more shots every period, he stood tall to the task to help his team secure a big win.

Sebastian Swaine, Rye Rangers
Sebastian played a big role this past weekend for the Rangers, starting in all three of the team’s wins. He recorded over 15 saves in two of his team’s wins, showing he can stand tall with a heavy workload.
New Jersey Bandits vs. Grundy Senators, Friday October 22nd: Starting off the Showcase are the second and third place teams in the standings. It will be a rubber match, as well, as each team has a win over the other this season. New Jersey’s Theo Herman comes into the Showcase with a seven-game point streak, while Evan Pierri, Jason Kilpatrick, and Liam Ahern have three points a piece against Grundy on the season. Grundy’s Christopher Marshall, Patryk Oszer, and Shane Hicks have been big offensive factors, combining for 28 goals, though they only have four goals against the Bandits this season. Sean Rue and Lucas Gonzalez have contributed well from the blue line with four goals from the back-end.
North Jersey Avalanche vs. Team Philadelphia, Saturday October 23rd: Tied in points in the standings, North Jersey and Philadelphia will take on each other for the first time this year. North Jersey boasts a solid defensive game, with goalies Tyler Um and Ryan Felenstein only allowing 14 goals in their seven match-ups. They’ve gotten aid from Juno Moon, Aiden Chun, and Andrew Sherland, who have patrolled their defensive end to help the low-scoring output from the opposition. Philadelphia will test out the Avalanche defense, with Bradan Fisher and Michael O’Connor both coming into the Showcase with three-game point streaks. Declan Herr and Kevin Lang have provided solid vision coming out of their zone, with Lang leading the defense in assists with three.
Rockets Hockey Club vs. Atlantic City Sharks, Saturday October 23rd: Two teams who are close in the standings and close in their goals-for and goals-against. Rockets’ forward Rhone Armijo is coming into the Showcase with a six-game point streak, racking up 10 goals and an assist in those six games. Andrew Summa led Rockets Hockey Club with a goal and an assist in the previous meeting this year between the two teams. Paul Lavigna and Connor Flynn lead the way for Atlantic City, putting up a combined 13 goals on the season, with Flynn scoring twice against Rockets previously this year.
FORWARD
Travis Strunk, North Jersey Aspen Kings Black
With a quick first step leading to breakaway speed, Strunk has been a big contributor for North Jersey. With two multi-goal games, and five tallies on the season, Strunk has been a great compliment to the Aspen Kings top-six.
Theo Herman, New Jersey Bandits
The speedy forward has been a big playmaker for the Bandits, registering eight assists in nine games. Herman’s keen vision has helped him throughout the season, but when given the chance, he’ll take the shot– putting in three goals this year, as well.
Rhone Armijo, Rockets Hockey Club
A natural goal-scorer, Armijo has 10 tallies on the season. With a hard, quick shot, Armijo has been able to fool goalies, while also alluding attacking defenders in order to create time and space for himself.
Shane Hicks, Grundy Senators
Putting up seven goals and 12 points this season, Hicks has been a big players in Grundy’s season. Adding more firepower to the top-six, Hicks has only been off the scoresheet twice this season in eight AHF contests.
Bradan Fisher, Team Philadelphia
As a point-per-game player, Fisher has put up six goals and 10 points on the year. Fisher is clutch, as well, with two of his six goals being game-winners for Team Philadelphia.
DEFENSE
Carter Faas, Ashburn Xtreme
A key part of the Xtreme’s defense, Faas has helped the squad only allow two goals in seven AHF contests. Responsible for his own end, Faas has also chipped in four points in five games and is riding a three-game point streak heading into the Showcase.
Tyler Jason, New Jersey Bandits
Leading the defense in goals with three, Jason has been able to throw in his offensive skills with his defensive play. With his all around play, Jason has been able to help the Bandits into the second spot in the U13AA standings.
GOALIE
Tyler Um, North Jersey Avalanche
Sporting a 1.67 GAA in three games, Um has been solid in his starts for the Avalanche. By playing his angles well, Um has been able to stymie the opposition by giving them very little to shoot at.
Neil Sharma, Tomorrow’s Ice Selects
Facing over 30 shots a game, Sharma has been solid for the Selects during the season. His .890 save percentage ranks third in the U13AA ranks, while also making timely saves to keep his team in the game.

Jase Zangara, North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue
Jase has been having an incredible offensive season. He has scored in every game he has played in and has nine goals in his last three games. He leads U14 AA in goals (21) and points (33) and has been a big part of the Kings’ success this season.

Kyle Metzler, MYHA Blue
Kyle has played a crucial role in why MYHA Blue sits at the top of the U14 AA standings. His 14 goals are good for second in U14 AA and have recorded at least one point in all but one of the games he’s played in. With seven multi-point games under his belt, Kyle is definitely a player to keep an eye out for this weekend.

Nate Wolk, New Jersey Bandits
Nate has had an outstanding season for the Bandits so far, with his 18 points being good for fifth in U14 AA. He’s recorded 11 points in his last four games and is a big reason the Bandits offense has been lethal this year. He looks to use his hockey IQ and offensive talents this weekend at the showcase.

Jack Tanton, Delaware Ducks
Jack has been on a tear these past three games, recording six points in his last three games. He has 16 points in the 11 games he has played and has been an impact player whenever he steps on the ice. Jack is his team’s leading scorer and looks to continue his hot streak at this weekend’s showcase.

Keygan Paquette, York Devils
Keygan is an intelligent, gritty, and talented 200-foot player. His IQ with and without the puck puts him in favorable situations consistently when he is on the ice. Keygan is incredibly confident with the puck, but even more determined to win possession back for his team. Look for Keygan to win pucks off the forecheck, and play with East-West vision offensively.

Matt Dargento, New Jersey Bandits
Matt’s seven points in 11 games is good enough to be the top-scoring defenseman in all of U14 AA. He has four points in his last four games while also playing great defense in his own zone. Matt has proven to be a lethal player on both ends of the ice because of this.

Gabriel Bill, North Jersey Avalanche
Gabriel has been a staple on the blue line for the Avalanche this season. Gabriel has not only excelled defensively but also has six points in as many games including five points in the last two games.

Alex Gilleece, New Jersey Jets
Alex has proven his worth on both ends of the ice this season. Defensively, he has shown excellent hockey IQ and awareness. On the other end he has helped offensively, scoring a point in each of the last six games he has played in.

Tyler Woodall, York Devils
Tyler gives 110% everytime he steps on the ice and his work shows up on the score sheet. His five points are good enough to make him one of the top-scoring defenseman in U14 AA and has been effective on both ends of the ice.

Carson Widener, York Devils
As a 2008 birth year, Carson holds a noticeable presence on the ice. His size compliments his raw ability and skill, specifically off the rush and on the offensive blue line. Look for number 58 to create opportunities with his skating skills and his shot.

Daniel Rosenstock, MYHA Blue
Daniel has been excellent in between the pipes this season. He has a total record of 5-1-0 and has two shutouts on the season. His goals-against average of 1.34 is one of the best in U14 AA and has shown excellent awareness and vision when in net.

Tyler Rounds, Ashburn Xtreme
Tyler has had a heavy workload this season, starting in eight games so far. However, he has stood tall to the task and recorded a 6-2-0 record as starter. To go along with this, his three shutouts is tied for most in U14 AA as he continues to show his value every game he plays.

Marco Nagy, Team Philadelphia
Marco has had an amazing season so far, sporting a 3-1-0 record. All three of his wins have come via shutout and it shows in his stats. His goals-against average of 1.25 and .930 save percentage are amongst the best in U14 AA. Marco’s vision and reaction time in net are a big reason for his success and has played a big role in Team Philadelphia’s success this season.

Marcus Braun, New Jersey Bandits
Marcus has been a crucial role in the Bandits’ success this season, leading all of U14 B in goals (21) and points (26). He has put up 13 goals in his last six games and works hard every shift he plays.

Scott Scranton, Team Philadelphia
Scott has been a force for Team Philadelphia this season. His 21 points are good for second-most in U14 B and has made an impact in every game he has played in.

Alex Polishko, North Jersey Aspen Kings Red
Alex has proven his worth offensively, scoring 13 goals this season. This total has him tied for second-most in U14 B. He has recorded seven points his past four games as he continues his offensive explosion this season.

Michael Santarpio, Haverford Hawks
Michael has been an impact player all season for the Hawks. He’s scored seven goals and eight points in his last three games using his offensive instinct and a wicked shot.

Lex Udell, Grundy Senators
Lex has been excellent on both ends of the ice. His ten goals and twelve points are good enough for second best amongst all U14 B defensemen as he continues to make an impact every shift he takes the ice for.

Owen Parker, Team Philadelphia
Owen has been an excellent two-way defenseman for Team Philadelphia this season. He has ten points on the season, eight have which have come in his last four games. Owen not only produces offensively but uses his great defensive instinct to keep opponents out of his team’s zone.

Tyler Rayzvikh, Brick Hockey Club
Tyler has been excellent in his own zone, using speed and skill to give opposing offenses trouble. He has also shown off his offensive flair this season too, scoring four goals and six points this year.

Kamran Maslott, New Jersey Stars
Kamran has been a reliable two-way defenseman for the Stars this season. He has used his vision and skill to his advantage to not only frustrate the opposition but score as well. Kamran has six points in as many games and process excellent awareness in the offensive zone.

Colin Marzullo, New Jersey Stars
Colin has been incredible in net for the stars this year. He is tied for U14 B lead in shutouts with three and has a save percentage of .920 which is one of the best in the league. Colin has excellent reflexes and great vision on the ice which helps him succeed whenever he starts.

Max Grant, Maryland Jr. Black Bears Black
Max has been a great goalie for the Black Bears so far this season, winning three of his last five starts. He has excellent awareness that helps him track and cover pucks as well as come up with big saves when needed.

Jack Worst, New Jersey Bandits
Jack’s reflexes and puck tracking abilities have made him successful this season in the Atlantic Hockey Federation. He has two wins on the season with one of those being a shutout. Jack brings his A-game every time he steps on the ice for the Bandits.
Philadelphia Blazers American vs. Jersey Shore Wildcats Red – October 22, 6:50 PM
The undefeated Blazers (6-0-0) will have to work hard to keep their flawless record when they face the Wildcats (6-0-2) on Friday night. The Blazers have been off to an outstanding start on defense, only allowing 7 goals through their first six games. Each of their goalies have recorded a shutout and Jackson Gwardyak has also recorded a .923 SV% through their first two starts. The team also has scoring talent throughout the roster, headlined by Declan Henes (12 G, 11 A). The Wildcats also have a high powered offense, as scoring is distributed throughout all three forward lines. However, the offensive spark largely comes from team scoring leader, defenseman Mason Levine (5 G, 7 A). The team also has a very reliable goaltender in Maya Sturm, as they have recorded an impressive .910 SV%. Few better ways to start the weekend than this showdown.

Haverford Hawks vs. Brick Hockey Club 2 – October 23, 3:45 PM
Brick Hockey Club 2 (6-3-0) will look to continue their roll heading into this showcase when they face Haverford (7-0-0). Brick Hockey Club has won each of their last four games, including a 3-0 shutout over Tomorrow’s Ice North Stars Red in their last game. Featuring plenty of prolific forwards, three have at least five goals this season. Haverford won’t be an easy game, though, as the team has displayed talent in all aspects of the game. Every skater has an average of at least 0.5 points per game, the team has conceded fewer than two goals per game, on average, and Harrison Kool has been a force in net, cruising to a .947 SV% in their first four starts. Two deep teams will make for an entertaining game to watch.

Team Philadelphia Orange vs. Delaware Ducks 2 – October 24, 4:50 PM
Should these teams continue their momentum from earlier this season, someone’s “oh” has got to go when Philadelphia (10-0-0) and Delaware (7-0-0) close out their showcase slate. Philadelphia has three forwards with over 20 points on the season and every skater has registered at least a point this season. They stand on top of the division, and for very good reason. Delaware has registered a goal differential of +42 and has displayed great defense, only allowing 12 goals through their seven games. The team also has strong scoring depth, as every skater has at least three points. Jacob Schultz has also been outstanding in net. These two top teams are certain to put on a show.
Forwards

Jonathan Eves Jr. – Haverford Hawks
The leading scorer on the undefeated Hawks, Eves has put up 6 goals and 9 assists through his first seven games. He has scored at least a point in every game he has played and has scored multiple times in four of them. He has scored four points twice, striking for 2 goals and 2 assists against MYHA Blue and scoring a goal and 3 assists in a win over Ashburn. Eves has also been a help to Haverford through his disciplined play, not taking a penalty so far this season. His discipline allows him to stay on the ice and continue his point streak.

Noah Raymond – Delaware Ducks 2
With 11 goals through seven games, Raymond’s shooting talents have helped to propel the Ducks to an undefeated start to the season. He also has 7 assists, tying him the team lead in points. Raymond has registered two hat tricks this season, one against New Jersey Stars Green and another against Ashburn. In that Ashburn game, he also added three assists, giving him an impressive six point outburst. When he scores, he tends to score in bunches, posting four multipoint games so far this season. He has also stayed out of trouble, not committing a penalty yet this season.

Michael Regan – Hollydell Hurricanes Navy
Captain of the team and the division’s leading goal and point scorer, Regan has proven to be a leader on and off the ice. On the ice, he has scored points in eight consecutive games, dating back to August. His best performances came in consecutive wins against Ashburn on September 19. In the first game of a doubleheader, Regan registered 4 goals. He followed that sniping masterpiece with 3 goals and 2 assists in the second game. Off the ice, he has provided influential led his team to a 7-3-1 start.

Bennett Stanton – Team Philadelphia Orange
Leading the way for the division leaders in scoring, Stanton has gotten off to a hot start in scoring this season. His 18 goals are second in the division while his 22 points have positioned him in third. He has done so in only eight games, putting his scoring pace in the upper echelons in the division, and certainly the highest on the team. Despite his small size, Stanton has a physical aspect to his game, registering 4 hits while also having a playing style that contributes in ways that are not equated in the box score.

Declan Henes – Philadelphia Blazers American
One of the division’s leading scorers, Henes has established himself as one of the division’s top offensive defensemen. His scoring pace is unmatched, as he has racked up 12 goals and 11 assists in only five games. He has not played a game in which he has scored fewer than 3 points and has scored as many as 6 in a game. That 6 point outburst came back in his first game of the season, as Henes scored a hat trick and added 3 assists in a win over New Jersey Stars Green. He has also helped the Blazers to become one of the division’s best defensive sides, assisting in two shutouts.

Mason Levine – Jersey Shore Wildcats Red
Levine has flashed his talents at both ends of the ice, establishing himself as an emerging two-way defenseman. Levine has a 7-game point streak, dating back to the second game of the season. His best game of the season came against Maryland Jr. Black Bears Red as he tallied 4 assists in a 5-3 win. He is proving to be one of the best passers at the defensive position with his 7 assists, while also scoring 5 goals. He also recovers well in his own half and limits breakouts for the opposition.

Brody Stanisz – Brick Hockey Club 2
A talented two-way defenseman, Stanisz has been a standout so far this season. From the blue line, he has contributed 9 points (4 G, 5 A) in eight games, tying him for the team lead in that category. He scored two goals against Haverford earlier this season, a tough defensive squad to crack. Stanisz has also stood out in the defensive zone, locking down his assignments and preventing opposing players from getting open. His efforts have absolutely been a large part in his team’s success this season.

Harrison Kool – Haverford Hawks
Statistically, one of the best goalies in the entire AHF, Kool has been simply remarkable through his first four starts. Two of his first four games resulted in shutouts while the others have only seen Kool allow one goal. Kool’s statline has reflected the goalie’s outstanding start; 4-0-0, 0.51 GAA, .947 SV%. Kool looks very cool in net, with a composure and willingness to allow play to happen and reacting quickly once a shot comes towards the net.

Maya Sturm – Jersey Shore Wildcats Red
Playing each of Jersey Shore’s first eight games, Sturm has locked things down for the team, cruising to a sterling 6-0-2 record. Sturm’s athleticism has really shined throughout the season, leading to a 2.25 GAA and a .910 SV%. Sturm has allowed the Wildcats to compete in many games as well, silencing 39 of 40 Maryland shots in a 6-1 victory and stopping 47 of 52 shots in a 6-5 shootout loss against Delaware. Sturm has stood strong in goal and will look to continue to do so as the season rolls on.
Atlantic City Sharks vs. Haverford Hawks White – October 23, 9:45 AM
The division’s top two teams are set to do battle to get their showcase under way on Saturday. Atlantic City (8-0-0) sits in second place after going undefeated through their first eight games this season. Their offensive attack has been nearly uncontainable this season, scoring 84 goals. Three players lead the way with double-digit goal tallies and at least 20 points. Haverford (9-1-0) sits in first place with outstanding defense, only allowing 9 goals through their opening 10 games. They will look to bounce back from their first loss of the season, a 4-2 decision to Hollydell Hurricanes Black in their last game, after starting the year with nine wins. In a classic battle of defensive game plan vs. offensive attack, only one can win.

Team Philadelphia vs. New Jersey Stars – October 24, 7:30 AM
Team Philadelphia (5-1-0) will hope to continue their hot start when they meet tough opposition in New Jersey (6-3-1). Philadelphia has a strong offensive attack, averaging 6 goals per game. They are led by Brooks Angelo, as they have racked up 11 goals and 6 assists to begin the season. New Jersey also has a high powered offense, scoring 61 goals through 10 games. Four forwards have at least 10 points. Leonard Rybakov leads the way with 25 points (16 G, 9 A). The first time these teams met, Philadelphia emerged with a statement win on August 28. Will they be able to repeat that result or will New Jersey respond?

Jersey Shore Wildcats Black vs. Igloo Jaguars – October 24, 10:10 AM
Two teams with 6 wins will meet on Saturday in a matchup between Jersey Shore (6-0-0) and the Igloo Jaguars (6-2-0).
