The 2025 NCDC Draft featured a major milestone for the Atlantic Hockey Federation, as two players from the Ashburn Xtreme were selected by the Mercer Chiefs.

Tristan MacCormick was selected in the 2nd round, and Jake Lauterstein followed in the 4th round—a proud moment for both players and their program. Competing in the AHF this season, both athletes stood out with their performance and consistency, earning the attention of NCDC scouts.

The National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC), operated by the USPHL, is a Tier II junior hockey league that has become a key step in the development path for players pursuing NCAA hockey and beyond. Being drafted into the league is a significant achievement and speaks to the caliber of talent within the AHF.

Congratulations to Tristan, Jake, and the entire Ashburn Xtreme organization on this exciting accomplishment. The AHF is proud to support players on their journey to the next level.
