Ashburn Xtreme
When a team outscores its opponents 79-18 in just ten games, it’s definitely a team to keep an eye on. The Ashburn Xtreme boasts the most lethal offense in U10 AA. The team has five players who average at least a point per game and two who average a goal a game. The Xtreme is led by Cohen Polley, the U10 AA leader in goals (25) and points (33) who has already recorded six hat tricks on the season with four of those being in four-goal games.
North Jersey Bandits
Being undefeated through eight games is an easy way to prove you belong on a teams to watch list. The Bandits’ +36 goal differential is the third-best differential in U10 AA, outscoring its opponents 53-17. Owen Mitchell leads the way offensively with 20 points and has received great defense and goaltending so far this season.
York Devils
The Devils’ 58 total goals rank second amongst total goals scored by a team in U10 AA and have the second-best goal differential in the league with a +46. Boasting eight players averaging a point per game or higher, the team’s offense complements its defense very well and makes them a team to look out for heading into the weekend.
North Jersey Aspen Kings Blue
The Kings enter the showcase 4-0-0 and have been spectacular on both sides of the ice. Outscoring its opponents 32-2 in those four games, the team is well round and boasts a deadly offense and a shutdown defense. Mark Dybas has been lights out this season, turning aside 73 of the 75 shots he has faced this season.
Haverford Hawks
The Haverford Hawks enter this weekend winning three of its last four games. This streak has vaulted them into the top ten in U10AA. Led by Connor Kraus and his six goals, the team looks to continue its winning ways with a strong defense and good puck-moving offense.
