It has been an honor to watch Mike grow up before our eyes over the past few years. Mike’s confidence on the ice and with the puck continues to soar. He’s become a leader by setting up his teammates for goals and not hesitating to light the lamp himself. The consistent smile and positive attitude is contagious for the team, including for the coaches. Keep up the great work, Mike!

8U Lemieux Division: Nominating Coach: John O’Brien

Position: Defense

Rem is our big man on D. Not only this week but every week, he has played solid. Rem blocked over 20 shots this weekend to help his team stay in the game. He played smart by keeping the puck out of the front of his net and sprung many 2-on-1s by going up the boards. Look forward to watching him develop.

8U AAA Division: Nominating Coach: Ryan Herits

Danny continues to be a leader on and off the ice. He gives 110% every shift, every play, and pushes his teammates to be better!

Jack had a great offensive game. He netted 2 big-time goals that helped seal the win.

Jacob Psinakis had a great weekend with 5 goals and 2 assists. He made some great passes and capitalized on his scoring opportunities. Great job Jacob!

10U Lemieux Division: Nominating Coach: Dan Dmytryk

Position: Defense

Caleb is emerging as a leader who demonstrates our team’s values of effort, attitude, and teamwork on and off the ice. As a solid defenseman, Caleb spends much of his ice time taking away time and space from our opponents, forcing turnovers, and blocking shots. Caleb’s strong team play earned him three assists this weekend. Caleb also scored two goals, one of which was shorthanded.

10U McDavid Division: Nominating Coach: Joe Klems

Position: Forward

Liam Huang had an exceptional weekend, building on his strong start to the season. He notched 5 goals and 1 assist in Sunday’s league game and added 3 goals and 1 assist in non-league action. Liam consistently leverages his size, speed, and skating ability to find open ice and generate scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. His positive attitude on the bench, along with his power and agility, has been a tremendous asset for the Ducks all season. Keep up the great work, Liam!

11U AA Division: Nominating Coach: Jonathan Jones

Christian Ekizian took off this weekend to help guide his team towards two wins at home. On top of a tenacious effort on the forecheck, beautiful passing, and solid defensive awareness, he also added 2 goals and 3 assists over the weekend to help our team win two big games! Great job Christian 🏒

12U AA Division: Nominating Coach: Joe Rizzo

Danny continues his pursuit of becoming a powerhouse player for our club. Another multi-goal weekend has shown him to be a big contributor to our team’s success. He has a nose for the net and continues to work hard week after week! Keep up the great work, Danny!

Travis Wood played defensively sound this past weekend and demonstrated his abilities as an offensive defenseman. He contributed two goals against the Avalanche. He brings great intensity every time he hits the ice and it is to be commended.

Jaxson has truly earned the spotlight this week with an outstanding performance on the ice. Not only did he score a hat trick, showcasing his skills as a top finisher by consistently finding the back of the net, but he also demonstrated remarkable physicality in tough areas of the rink. His ability to support his teammates and contribute to the overall team effort has been invaluable.

14U Lemieux Division: Nominating Coach: Brian Repetz

Player’s Name: Desmond Murray

Position: Goalie

Desmond had quite a game this weekend, racking up 40 saves on 41 shots. He had to stop 3 clear breakaways and a penalty shot, making crucial save after crucial save. His effort led to a 6-1 win and 8 subsequent wins in a row for his team. His teammate Dominic was thoughtful and fished out the game puck to give to him for postgame. Way to go, Desmond!

Gregory stood strong in net with a shutout win over the undefeated Haverford Hawks and then allowed just one goal in the second game of the day against Team Philadelphia Orange.
