  • Team: Lehigh Phantoms
  • Player’s Name: Owen Gallagher
  • Jersey Number: 55
  • Position: Defense
  • Owen helped keep us in a close game on Saturday with good defense and a goal. On Sunday, he had an explosive game with 4 goals in a much-needed victory against Skylands to boost team morale!

10U Lemieux Division: Nominating Coach: Bill Gaines

  • Team: TI North Stars Red
  • Player’s Name: Theodore Gaines
  • Jersey Number: 35

  • “Teddy had several big saves, diving and sprawling to keep the semi-finals tied at 1. TI later scored in the final minutes to win the game (and add an EN Goal also at the end). .928 SV% – 5 GP, 5 Wins, 2 Shutouts, including championship shutout (1 GA in semi-final, SO in championship)”

  • Team: Southern Maryland Sabres

  • Team: Tri-City Eagles
  • Player’s Name: Aiden Bohlayer
  • Jersey Number: 50

12U Gretzky Division: Nominating Coach: Ryan Larrance

  • Team: Tri-City Eagles
  • Player’s Name: Henry Arthur
  • Jersey Number: 87
  • Position: Forward
  • Henry did a great job putting the puck in the net this weekend with 7 goals in 2 games. However, the most impressive part of his performance was his defensive play, which often goes unnoticed. He helped to kill several penalties and was not on the ice for any goals against.

12U McDavid Division: Nominating Coach: Pual Rohanna

  • Team: Hollydell Hurricanes
  • Player’s Name: Bella Coco
  • Jersey Number: 17

14U AA Division: Nominating Coach: John Fields

  • Team: Valley Forge Colonials
  • Player’s Name: Lucas Bennet
  • Jersey Number: 31
  • Position: Goalie
  • Lucas was very consistent this weekend and made all the saves he should have and some he had no business making. As the only goalie on a 14AA team, he gets no breaks, can’t be pulled, and this weekend he made 108 saves, and helped us to a big tie on Sunday in his third game of the weekend.

14U Lemieux Division: Nominating Coach: Anthony Minerva

  • Team: Rockets Hockey Club
  • Player’s Name: Gio Sosa
  • Jersey Number: 49
  • Position: Center
  • I’ve been harping at the fact that the team needs to move their feet more and play competitively. Day in and day out Gio shows up and skates hard. There were a few times I was directing him to “stop and start” as well as “skate”, at those moments he turned on the jets and flew by the defenseman putting the puck into the net. Another skill I touch on is crashing the net for rebounds. On one of his goals Gio found the back of the net after the goalie made a save, he drilled the puck into the back of the net. Keep up the good work Gio! While you continue to work hard and SKATE you will find success in your game much more frequently.

14U Gretzky Division: Nominating Coach: Andy McDonald

  • Team: WBS Knights
  • Player’s Name: Erik Smith
  • Jersey Number: 86
  • Position: Forward
  • Erik had an outstanding weekend with back-to-back hat tricks and 7 total goals this past weekend, helping his team go 2-0!

14U McDavid Division: Nominating Coach: W. Scott Monks

  • Team: TI North Stars Red
  • Player’s Name: Wylie Hyman
  • Jersey Number: 11
  • Position: Forward
  • Wylie posted two goals and nearly a third on a spectacular scoring chance during the 14U TI North Stars game versus the Hollydell Hurricanes this Saturday. His efforts helped his team towards an 8-3 victory in a well-contested game.

15U AA Division: Nominating Coach: Chris Sharamatew

  • Team: Philadelphia Blazers
  • Player’s Name: Nolan Rauch
  • Jersey Number: 88
  • Position: Defense
  • Nolan really stepped up for the team this weekend, for the past few years Nolan has played center, this weekend the team had 3 injured players and 1 player out, Nolan volunteered to play defense and did an amazing job as he scored a goal and had 2 assists

and blocked multiple shots, helping his team to stay close in the tournament, not to mention the team is 15AA and played in a 16AA tournament. Well done, Nolan!

16U Lemieux Division: Nominating Coach: Matt Vicinie

  • Team: Tri-City Eagles
  • Player’s Name: Orion Barker
  • Jersey Number: 84
  • Position: Left Wing
  • Orion played a sound two-way hockey game, tallying 2 goals in our game this weekend. Orion always tries to find ways to get better and improve. It’s so awesome to see hard work pay off.

18U A Division: Nominating Coach: Frank Blust

  • Team: Wissahickon Warriors

  • Position: Forward
  • Liam has had an incredible season thus far but truly stood out on Sunday. He dominated in an unselfish fashion, finishing the game with 2 goals and 6 assists for 8 points. This puts Liam atop the league in assists and total points through 14 games.

8U Beginner Division: Nominating Coach: Oktay Armagan

  • Team: Jersey Wildcats
  • Player’s Name: Tommy Brilli
  • Jersey Number: 10
  • Position: Forward
  • Not only did Tommy produce offensively but helped the team defensively.

8U Add On Division: Nominating Coach: Jim Lawson

  • Team: Team Philadelphia
  • Player’s Name: Andreas Boulos
  • Jersey Number: 78
  • Position: Forward
  • Andreas Boulos could be the most talented 2016 in the entire league. During our game against the Blazers, this young man demonstrated an amazing display of empathy and sportsmanship. After scoring two goals against the Blazers a minute into the game, he decided ON HIS OWN to stop scoring goals and instead passed the puck, providing assists to a number of boys on our team who have not scored yet this season. This is my first submission for Player of the Week this season, and I felt Andreas deserves to be recognized.
